The atmosphere was okay. But I had an 'uh-oh' moment within a minute of being seated when one of the waitresses was extremely sullen. We ordered a few Margaritas and a big plate of Nachos. Things started to go downhill from there. In between the meal, me and my cousin wanted to smoke a cigarette and after informing our waiter we went outside for a few minutes. When we got back someone from the wait staff thought we were done and put all the used napkins and straw paper on the plate of Nachos. We informed Caesar (the man who was attending to us) that the Nachos was ruined because of no fault of ours. Caesar, instead of apologising, tells us that the Nachos were nearly complete and it can't be justified to give us a replacement!! Then he tried to insinuate that we were the ones who had put the used Napkins in our plate of Nachos to get free food! We were stunned by what he said, paid our bill (without any tip) and left the restaurant to never ever step foot in it ever again. Avoid this establishment unless you're dying of hunger. It...

Came here today Wednesday for happy hour, ordered 2 margaritas. Our server came back to take our order. We said we’re here just for drinks. He never came back to check on us, it was a slow night, we ordered 2 more drinks from another waitress. The entire wait staff ignored us the whole time we were there. when we asked another waitress for our check the first guy tried to jack us for another drink and argued with us that another waiter brought my wife a third drink. She had a hard time finishing her 2nd margarita. He said he would let it go. Are you kidding me; I will never be back. What a experience. By the way we only went for drinks because we had a $20.00 voucher our son got us. We never eat there because the food is terrible. Do yourself a favor and never eat there, Mission Burrito is much better food...

We have been here many times with no problem, until last night. He ordered the enchiladas saltillo, I had the chile verde. Which is essentially the same pork base. The two of us woke up to some severe food poisoning. Let's just say we're lucky our house has two bathrooms. Also, the service was absolutely horible. Not once did our waiter check on us, and it wasn't even a busy night. We had to flag down our waiter for drink refills and the extra napkins he forgot. When it came time to pay the bill, we finally had to flag down the hostess to get our check. And then it took her a considerable amount of time to get our change. Not a good experience. And we...

Great little place that used to be common in Southern California. Old school traditional Mexican food. I had the Chile Verde which was excellent. Tender chucks of carnitas perfect level of spice. Tortillas made in house, excellent refried beans and rice, chips light and perfect as well. Bar looks fun too. Family owned and operated. Clean and kept up. Will come back.

Lunch time was not busy and the wait was about 20+ minutes from ordering to plates served. The wait time well worth it and their service was excellent. We had a shrimp soup and chicken salad, good portions and tasty.

Love this place - great tacos and salsa is chunky and spicy but not too hot. Everyone there is friendly and attentive.
