Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard — Restaurant in Sinking Spring

No problem with the food itself. But after waiting 25 minutes in line, I was greeted with super rude customer service. Ordered a watermelon gelati, small, took a breath to keep talking, but the girl already turned away and started making it in the back, before she knew what flavor custard I wanted. She made vanilla and another girl asked if that was all. I asked for a twist for my custard and the original girl said "it's already made" and I said "I didn't finish my order" and my partner said "can you make it again please" after she gave us silence. Then she said "next time say that when you order" and I said "you walked away." Then we paid and resumed our lives. She was ready to walk away before I even told her what size I wanted. At the very least ask what flavor custard I want if you thought I was done ordering, don't just walk away without knowing what the customer wants. Incredibly rude to then imply I have to take the wrong order simply bc you made it wrong. So to the short blonde chick working last night (04/28/24) at this location around 6:30pm, I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and say maybe you had a bad day or were stressed bc the line was long and you were busy; however, use this as a chance to reflect and learn how to manage your mouth and take accountability for your actions, esp at work, bc you were just unnecessarily rude when you were the one who messed up. Or just take the customers whole...

Situated at the corner of a sharp 5 point (like my Batarang) intersection, this treat stop is dangerously delicious. The ice crew is always upbeat, friendly, and willing to make any tasty creation requested. This Rita's location has a larger variety of water ice then most I have come across.

Contactless payment is always very convenient. And yes, looking at their point of sale display - that is the store number, no cap.

Benches to the left of the building and to the right of the building allow for a spot to "chill" while cooling down with your gelati.

Just moved to West Lawn. Found this Rita's is very close to our house. But, its the worst Rita's Ive ever been to. Stopped carrying many of the custards bc they are too expensive to stock? What the hell kind of Rita's is this? Vanilla and Chocolate is all they have now. The location is horrible. Parking is atrocious. Theres no other place to stand other then in the parking lot in the way of entering cars. We decided to find a...
