Wendy's — Restaurant in Sioux City

This was the worst Wendy's I have ever been to. We walked in there were 2 people in front of us, we waited and waited to be served. We finally orders and they hand us our cups. We went to the soda machine and there was a line. There was a bucket of ice on the counter for people to get ice out of, I did not use that and would never. The soda machine was not working right, so I asked the guy at the counter if he could fix it. Some yelled at me to start a line at the counter and they would fill up our drinks. I let the other people go ahead of me and we waited and waited to get our drinks. We waited around 5 minutes in a line to get our drinks filled and then I sat down and waited another 10 minutes for my food. I would not call this Wendy's a "Fast Food" restaurant. Once we finally got our food there was a line of people waiting on food, a line waiting on drinks, and a line waiting to order. Probably around 20 people waiting. We started eating and all of our food was cold and not good. The place was also dirty. Went to the bathroom and there was nothing clean about it. Also most of the tables were dirty and needed to be cleaned. I wiped mine down before I sat down. I told people as I walked out that there was a subway across the road and I would eat there. Came in at 6:42pm on 5/25/23. Ordered the new Spicy Ghost Pepper Ranch chicken and spicy chicken combo had to wait 18 minutes to get our order and there was no one in line. Once received the spicy chicken didn't have mayo and the ghost pepper didn't have the onions. Had to wait to talk to the the manager because he was outside dealing with a customer that was very angry through the drive-thru. When we first ordered their scan gun wasn't working so they could not even take my rewards or give me a discount. The cashier was not going to do anything about it until we told him to use a calculator to do the math for the discount, so he did get the manager to take that off manually. I will say the food was some of the best tasting once they got it right that we've had at Wendy's and they did throw in a complimentary fry it's very frustrating that they were getting everything wrong. I would just be very attentive when I go here and check with my order maybe twice...

Ordered baked potato and chili. No potatoes so I changed the order and she got it wrong. I tried correcting it but she was distracted and it got worse. Tried correcting again - worse yet. Began speaking and she walked away in the middle of my sentence. Thought I got it fixed and she asked if that was all. Then she walked away to help in the back AGAIN. She came back and said the total. After paying, I noticed extra fries on the tray and checked the receipt. Sure enough, my burger was entered as a combo like I thought was fixed. I asked a different guy about it and he gave me a refund. Checked prices and it was $3.20 refunded for a $4.20 overcharge. I gave up to go eat. Went to take a drink and realized I had no frosty. Went to check the receipt but I only had the refund receipt and no way of knowing...
