I placed an order online and mistakenly ordered a chocolate chip cookie. Called the store to replace the cookie she asked which one I said lemon cake which she said she couldn’t do because of the up charge(1.49) which I said ok, can we replace it with a different cookie she told me there was also an up charge for all cookies. There is not. She said she asked the (shift lead this) I was mad and said thank you goodbye. I have high anxiety and was driving so I had my daughter call not even 10 mins later and she was told the cookies don’t have an up charge but since we called before they wouldn’t even switch it now. So I than asked to speak to the shift lead I was put on hold for over 10 mins when she answered she asked how she could help I explained the situation where she kept interrupting me to tell me that she understood. I tried explaining I was so upset because the previous person lied to me and than 10 mins later told me daughter something completely different. She than told me that we would have to come in in person to change the order to make sure it was the original person ordering. (They never asked who the order was for originally) they also never said that to either of us before the shift lead. She than said we could come in or cancel the order (which again the previous person said we couldn’t) THAN when my children went in to get the cookies and said my name the workers made them feel very uncomfortable from their blatant staring. Went through drive thru and when we got to the service window, they told us their system was down so when I asked what that meant, they responded, "I don't know. Try coming back in an hour or something." My face must have been like "seriously?!" Because she added "we can't take your cash, gift card or card." I think there was a better way to handle it than "try driving back in an hour or something." At a diff Crumbl, when their was an error, the worker corrected it or provided an apology for wasted time. It felt like our time was irrelevant in her eyes. 😑

Only wish they would offer some gluten free options to be more inclusive of diets based on various conditions or preference. That would get them a five star. Will say, sometimes too sweet. I walk in with my wife. One girl says hi. That is it. The girl and the boy were rolling dough and putting them on trays. Didn't offer to help us one bit. As we looked around the store for about 5 minutes. And not 1 can I help you. We walked back toward the door and they said have a good day. I was shocked. So I turn back and walk over and say. If I had been helped here. I may have made a purchase. Then it was ...I can help you if you tell me what you want. Really Tell me what you offer here so I can understand.
