The salesman did a great job with finding me a bed that fit my needs however I waited 2 weeks to have my bed delivered and left my Saturday open because I was told that I would receive a call 30 minutes prior to the delivery truck arriving at my house. After waiting until 1:00 pm I decided to call and check on my delivery only to find out that it was never scheduled for delivery and has been sitting in their distribution center. When I had asked what they could do to amend the situation they said I could wait another week to talk to someone and have it shipped then or pick it up myself. After talking to the manager found that they would be able to ship it to me the following day. At this point I still have yet to receive any sort of apology but rather I was given only excuses as to how it was not their fault and that I never ordered for delivery. Based on the way they seemed not to be very surprised or care about the situation I can only assume that this is a common occurrence. I am disappointed with the way this was handled.
Edit: It is now the next day and I've been on the phone with them since 1:00. I was assured that it would be delivered today but there is no ETA. Now it's 5:00 and someone finally told me that the manager should have known not to promise delivery today because they said there is no way that it could be delivered today. The manager that set the delivery wasn't in his office so I haven't been able to get ahold of anyone that can do anything. So now I'm being forced to pick it up an hour before they close. Not to mention I have now wasted my entire weekend because of their empty promises and terrible customer service. I have never seen a place with such poor customer service. I would highly recommend buying from anywhere except for from here. After reading other reviews I have found that I am in fact not the only person to be treated this way.

Read moreMy living room was in desperate need of a conplete make over. I didn't have any design plans so I visited a few furniture stores around town to get ideas. I saw a lot of nice furniture but struggled to find chairs, tables, & a couch that would look good together & fit within the space I have.
I went into the Ashley store on a whim to take a look around when I met Brittni. I told her I was just looking because I didn't know what I really wanted or needed, other than a couch. She proceeded to help me design a room from scratch knowing only the room measurements & layout. She took the time to help me understand the pros & cons of the different types of couches, materials, how to coordinate colors, etc. We did laps around the store, getting ideas. After a few return trips to the store, I had a better idea as to what I was looking but couldn't make a final decision on anything because I couldn't visualize the final room, fully decorated. Brittni took the time to round up lamps, decorations, throw pillows, tables & put it all together in the store to help me see what it could look like. It was beautiful!
I could have spent months trying to get everything right & it wouldn't have looked half as nice. Excellent design, beautiful furniture, and within my budget! Brittni did an amazing job guiding me through the whole process, answering questions, without any high pressure sales tactics. I left Ashley feeling confident that I had made a great investment & wouldn't regret the purchase after it was finally in my house. The delivery guys were very neat & took care in setting everything up just the way i wanted.

Read moreWorst, most stereotypical awful furniture experience of all time, please please please save yourself the nightmare and go to any of the multitude of other options in the area. Sales staff will mislead you about specials and pricing only to pull the ol bait and switch once you find something you like (on your own of course because they will be too busy chattering with each other around the front desk). Then, after picking a piece and just (correctly) assuming that all the mumbo-jumbo about percents off was not true about the piece we wanted, all I needed to know was how long it would take to pick the piece up if we did decide to purchase it, this was a deciding factor in our search as we had plans to entertain the following weekend. We knew this may limit our options but were willing to find something the we both liked and was readily available. Our sales person checked his little computer and told us with great joy that our piece was actually arriving that day and would be ready for pickup that evening or the next for sure. Im sure you can tell where this is heading, we have a bare living room and a sales staff that grows more and more rude and indignant as each day passes and we call inquiring as to when we can ever pick these pieces up, which have apparently been sitting in a semi in a parking lot just waiting to be unloaded for over a week now.
