It's been a long time since I had Ethiopian food so I thought I would try this place out. It's in a strip mall where the parking up front says there is a 30 min limit and to park in the back for extended time. The back has a lot of parking but then you have to walk all the way around to get back to the front to go to the restaurant.
There was one server so the service was on the slow side. It took a while to get the food and a while to wait to flag down the server to get the check.
There are a few tables and a few booths. I know you are supposed to eat with your hands but I asked for a fork anyways and got a plastic fork.
I got the vegetarian platter and the food was great. The bread has the sour tang. I love the variety of getting a platter. The food is definitely 5 stars, though I'm not a good judge of how authentic the food actually is but it tastes good. I got the mango juice which was also good (served in a styrofoam cup).

Read moreI only leave a review when something is either very good or very bad. The service here is terrible.
My partner and I have dined in here multiple times and ordered takeout. He ordered food today and was so disappointed with his treatment. The lady behind the counter barely acknowledged him, took the order and before he could finish (he wanted to order coffee too), started speaking to another lady behind him in Ethiopian. He received his food AFTER several other people who seemed to be regulars. It is so sad because he always makes a huge effort to learn about other cultures and knows parts of at least eight different languages to be able to greet people. He has many friends of different cultures. If you've had a bad experience with a customer, please don't take it out on others who would only ever treat you with love and respect.

Read moreWe dined today at this Ethiopian restaurant and had an exceptional experience. From the moment we entered, the warm and inviting atmosphere made me feel right at home. The staff was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout our visit.
We ordered two different fish dishes, including one vegetarian and one beef dish! The highlight of our meal was the vegetarian combo we ordered. The flavors were simply amazing! Each dish was bursting with authentic Ethiopian spices and cooked to perfection. The variety of dishes in the combo allowed us to sample a wide range of flavors and textures, and I was thoroughly impressed with the freshness and quality of the ingredients.
Not only was the food outstanding, but the presentation was also beautiful. Each plate was carefully arranged, showcasing the vibrant colors and enticing aromas. It truly added to the overall...
