KC's Crack'd Pot Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Sioux Falls Township

To begin with I have been a customer of this establishment for well over 30 years and have never been treated so rudely in my life. When I ordered my meal I ordered a Diet Pepsi with no ice. They were out of Diet Pepsi so I asked if I could Have a 1/2 a glass of regular Pepsi. She brought me a glass Half filled with pepsi and just as much ice Which I didn't order. I was offered a diet Doctor pepper or a diet Mountain Dew and I do not drink either one of those flavors of soda So I opted for the half class of Pepsi with no ice When I received the bill I was charged $2.50 for the half glass of Pepsi With tons of ice. I questioned the price of the soda and was told that it was the regular price and they even charge that same price for a child's portion. I have run into the same situation at the same restaurant in the past and never been charged Full price for the half a glass of soda. The same waitress offered a different customer food off of the salad bar which that customer had not ordered As I was in plain view of their table. She also offered to add more whipped cream to the food that was offered from the salad bar But I had to pay full price for a fourth of a glass of Pepsi With a fourth a Glass of ice. Needless to say her tip was rather small. I figured she could take the other $2.50 that I paid for the soda and count that as a tip. And the next time I'm in there if she's my waitress I will get up and move to a different section And if she's the only...

Been here many times over the years and it went from an easily a 5 star across the board for food, service and atmosphere but in the last 6/8 months the food quality has become like hospital quality. Bland and cold and typically over cooked.

Our waitress was ok at best , she got the order correct except for the no ice and crispy bacon but didn't seem to care to check in with us until we literally started talking about it 20 minutes in to the food time of the service. She seemed very focused on a table on the south end of the building , I mean it's ok because it saved me 15 bucks on tip and she got the 2nd lowest we go with the lowest being none. Definitely not understaffed tonight in the front of house but I'm guessing so in the back of house because it was a good 20/25 minutes for food to be served after we ordered and everyone else left when we sat down at 4 and ordered about 20 minutes later but when the 5 o'clock rush started around 445 we still hadn't received our food and didn't get it tell about 5 minutes before the rush started to get their food .

When we were in there tonight (11/30/24) after about 3 months of not eating there because the decline and it's worse than before, we had forgotten that it's "pay at the table " and it's not posted anywhere so my mom who invited us out tonight got up to pay when this waitress came out yelling "PAY AT THE TABLE " to my 60 year old mom.

So 2nd time I been there first was last year for all you could eat beef tips night was good service sucked they didnt want us there we had 9 and weren't the largest table they had screaming kids and was treated better anyway went there today for lunch. Dont know how the service really was never saw waitress after our order had to call another waitress to have my cup refilled one time and then she brought us our bill after the other waitress went and told her we were mad also 2 waitresses and only 6 tables full. Now the food. I ordered broasted chicken it was absolutely gross you know that taste you get from an unwashed unpeeled dirty carrot the meat and all tasted like it, hash browns only one side was done. I dont eat ketchup on anything really and I drowned it and still nasty. My sons pancakes and butter had NO flavor what so ever! I tried them tasted like absolute nothing just chewy, drenched with pancake syrup didnt help. Wife had special suppose to be 2 biscuits covered in gravy Hash browns and 2 eggs. Over cooked eggs undercooked hashbrown and only one half of A biscuit covered in some weird tasting gravy. Mine came with soup salad bar. NO salad they mean macaroni salads and 1 bland lasagna soup.
