Snack Shack — Restaurant in Skowhegan

First I'd like to say CONGRATULATIONS, to the Newlyweds who are Terrific ppl! This is a "Family Friendly, Delicious to die for Chicken,& Homemade FF!" All FOOD tastes like what there SUPPOSED to, like Chic doesn't taste like Fried Clams, or Anything Fishy. The FFs are crisp and Fresh. The desserts are a Must, especially if they have the Chocolate&Peanutbutter Bars"#1, then the Raspberry Cheesecake Bars=#2, oh Gosh the list could go on&on Forever. This is My FAVORITE place to eat in or takeout. Only ONE downside, their Closed on Monday's, (lol), for it's usually a Monday when I go by,& then the Cravings start, so back to Skowhegan. My Lilman(6 going to be 7)& Myself enjoy this place so much that if I call ahead& order they know it's Mel! All the Staff are Super Friendly, always smiling with the greatest Manners,& Wonderful with Children. If there was a higher rating other than 5 Stars it'd be 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟!!! Also the proportions are Huge, like back when you paid for a 1/2gal of ice cream,&got a 1/2gal,& now it's 2.8pints, at the 1/2gal price! The prices, well if a Family of 5 can eat& have leftovers and drinks for under 50 Bucks, I'd call that Amazing in this World today. The food is alway s good there.BUT I will. Not patron again there because of the way the owner/chef treat there help!. When have to yell at your help in front of everyone including the customer, which was me I might add. About an order which was mine!!!. She wrote down exactly what i wanted on my order. YOU Mr. Owner/ chef di dnt like how I ordered then you should of asked me. Why do you feel it necessary to yell at her in front of everyone there when she got my ORDER correct?. YOU MR. OWNER/ CHEF WAS totally WRONG& UNPROFESSIONAL. and if I were that young lady I would of told you to kiss my butt and walked out. So I hope everyone that reads this feels the same way that I do. (8/9/25) We ate lunch here for the first time today. Excellent food!! We are definitely returning here. We ordered their Caesar wrap with chicken, onion rings, and buffalo chicken wrap. These guys know how to build a delicious wrap!! My buffalo chicken wrap was perfect! I love how all of the fresh ingredients came together so well with each bite. Great casual atmosphere. They offer space for both indoor and outdoor dining. Large parking lot. Very quick service receiving your food after placing your order. Competitively priced.
