Decided today to pick up my wife’s diamond ♦️ from a recent repair. I arrived at the store around 9:30 am, just one customer in the shop. My appearance was “as usual” since I took some time away from work to travel to the store. Attire? Jeans, work shirt and hat. I did have my wallet in hand. I walked into the store and who must have been an owner said “hello”. I dittoed her greeting and walked toward the repair counter. As I’m walking in her direction, her next statement left me speechless. She said, “Are you here to pick up the trash?” Trying to keep cool in the moment i calmly stated that I was here to pick up a ring that was here for repair for my wife. I’m not sure why I was profiled when I entered this store. Weather the reasons were for my “WM” green shirt, or because I happened to be a person of color, I don’t know. Either way these sort of statements should not have been verbalized this day in age. How much more do we have to do to educate people that certain behavior and or statements that may have been acceptable in their view 30 years ago, are not acceptable today?
I was fully prepared to make another purchase. One to replace my lost wedding band, and another for my wife to add to her jewelry collection since it’s Valentines Day.

Read moreAfter my husband of 40 years passed away a while ago, I wanted to take the two sapphires and diamond out of my 10th anniversary ring and have a new ring made with them. Andy Russakoff was wonderful to work with; he had quite a few nice designs to show me, and many artisans he works with. Along the way, Andy was up front about the costs, and as well, he gave me very fair trade-in values for some old pieces of jewelry I had no use for. The resulting custom designed 14K gold ring, with my diamond flanked by two sapphires, is a treasure for me to wear daily.
It was a pleasure to work with Andy, and at a small family owned business where the customer is number one. They offer a nice variety of jewelry at prices that seem fair and varied enough to suit most any customer. Andy and Donna are friendly, compassionate and honest - I will be going back for any future...
Read moreAndy was very patient, flexible and amazing!! I was gifted beautiful rings from my aunt after her passing. She wanted me to take and make the rings my own. I brought them to Andy and he explained how we could not change them however we could make them work to accentuate my engagement ring. We also had taken a ring and turned it in to a beautiful single diamond pendant and earrings. Very ecstatic with the work, the timing and complete customer service! I highly recommend and will go back for all my jewelry needs! Thank you so...
