went in Sunday, with a friend, at opening time for lunch and they had a maple chipotle salmon dish as a special that slapped harder than any salmon dish I've had in my life. so perfectly cooked!! and the garlic mashed potatoes and roasted garlic broccoli was so fkn spot on that my mouth is watering as I write this (on a full stomach lol). I got the blueberry mule for a drink which was delicious and my friend and I split the Guinness buttercream cake (huge slice!!! we both couldn't finish it). can't forget to mention the stellar view that is the outdoor dining on the river ledge by the dam!!! that food was soo good and the menu items sounded so good too that we went back the next day (Monday) to which we had forgotten was their only day closed. so we came back for lunch Tuesday! I got the same drink and the turkey apple flatbread with the beer battered fries (not pictured) which was amazing. hit the spot. both meal portion sizes were perfect (though the cake slice was bigger than expected! leftover cake is a great snack lol). I'm tempted to go back a 3rd time (during my week long visit here) for the maple bourbon glazed steak tips 🤤

The wait for a table...it was long. Very long. You have to stand awkwardly in the busiest part of the restaurant while you wait...unless you wait outside. Hostess was also bartending so the customers were confused about what to do. Despite this, everything else was great. We were seated upstairs in a cozy area. Our server was really nice. We ordered wings which were hot and so good! I ordered the Steak and Cheese Wrap which was phenomenal. It was so yummy looking, a patron at the next table wanted to get it as well! It's built for easy eating...easy to hold and it didn't fall apart. My husband got the Rodeo burger. It was a big juicy burger and he really enjoyed it! Definitely give this place a try. We drove up from Auburn and it was worth the drive for sure. Plus it's a cute little town to look through. Win-win!

I really enjoyed the atmosphere but that’s about where it stopped. The service was slow & sitting outside you can hear the kitchen scream for the servers. The french onion soup had decent flavor but it was incredibly salty. Mozzarella sticks were overpriced. My husband ordered the rodeo burger & subbed out the cheese for bleu cheese crumbles & the pub fries for beer battered fries. It was an additional $1 for the cheese & and additional $1 for for the fries which the serving was a mere handful. The burger also appeared to be frozen & was improperly cooked. I ordered chicken tenders & fries as an entree… the chicken tenders were the overly breaded, processed kind & the fries appear to be the hand cut kind but once again, the restaurant receives them frozen. Incredibly disappointing meal that was overpriced.

My credit card was overcharged , I called the pub the following day & spoke with the manager(Eric-I think?) to correct the charge. He became rude & defensive and told me I was never welcome back. A year later I was asked by a family member to give it another’s try, that was 4 years ago. My family celebrated my nephews graduation there after his ceremony. We sat on the patio near the river/kitchen. This time, during our meal, I could hear employees yelling & swearing at each other. just after the fighting an employee started smoking outside the kitchen. Our table was by a big tree near the kitchen. All we could smell was smoke during our meal. The atmosphere is just as important as the meal. I loved the pub for what it was years ago. Friday night music with Dave Mello (the best!). The Pub has a Great location, great food and the local people are equally amazing. Somehow the restaurant lost that friendly hometown vibe. I haven’t been back since. I’m not local anymore, but when I visit friends/family it was my go to because of the nostalgia. I don’t know…maybe there’s new management now?!...

Have been going to this place for years and have had great meals and service, but not tonight.

Brought relatives from away and they loved the view of the river from the deck but after waiting for 45 minutes for our soup we were not happy at all. Had to actually go inside to ask someone where it was as our waitress had not been back to check on us for over 30 minutes. When we finally got it, we were told that the kitchen was slammed, but the funny thing was, people who had been seated after us already had their food and were eating.

Another trip inside was required as we now were approaching an hour from ordering. When it finally came, one order was wrong (fries instead of the garlic mashed potatoes), one burger was rare to the point of making the bun soggy, and one meal had an extremely small serving missing some of the sauces noted in the menu. We had waited so long and were so hungry we just let this go. The other two meals were fine.

They did comp our soups and first round of drinks but based on this visit, we will be choosing other places to spend our money...
