Jack's Irish & Italian Pizza Pub — Restaurant in Smithfield

I had really high hopes since seeing some photos of pizza on RI Pizza Fans group on FB. The Kerri Lyn sounded great, but fell short on flavor. It was advertised as a white pizza, which, in my world means at least a lil olive oil, garlic and italian spices. There was zero flavor. The artichoke hearts were very tough. The crust was nice and crispy on the bottom. Overall a "7" at best. They really fell short for us with service. We waited 10 minutes for our check after having to ask for it. The owner/bartender was busy chatting up the Bryant boys, continually clearing their dishes and making martinis for bar guests. I really wanted to love this place as it is close to my work place and I am always looking for places to grab takeout on...

I've been by here so many times and never knew they were in this plaza. We are glad we stopped by and had an amazing dinner. Great place. The food was excellent. The service was even better from the boy scouts. Cira our waitress was wonderful. She is so sweet. Great conversation with the owner ( or her husband) Bernie. We will definitely be be back. I could point out their RI monthly best, but love this photo better.. btw.. I love the rest room art... You will have to go for yourselves for that one. I also hear they have amazing options for those with celiac who need gluten...

The cheese pizza was good, but the rest of my experience wasn’t great. I waited at least 15 minutes for my food even though it was already done because the employees were standing around talking. When I finally got it, the onion rings and fries were completely cold , not even slightly warm. The potato pizza was also terrible, the potatoes were hard and undercooked, so I couldn’t even eat it. On top of that, I practically had to beg to pay because they just handed me the food and said I was all set. I literally had to ask to pay three times. Not sure if it was just an off...
