I wish I could give this establishment a 0 star rating. The young lady working on Saturday evening had one of the worst customer service that I have ever had in a fast food restaurant. I ordered the pizza on line which told me 25 minutes. After about 10 minutes I went in to the restaurant to wait. The young man on the register helped the two persons ahead of me then attended to me. He informed me that my order would take about 10 more minutes. He was then asked to help with making the orders. There was a discussion between them about which one was my order. The young woman then came to me and insisted that I take a seat because all take out orders would be not less than 30 minutes no matter what. Then she walked off. The same young man stated he was about to make my order. However, she turned to him and said no, we will get to it whenever we get to it, do the other orders. The other guy giggled, she said I am serious she will be waiting. At that point I decided that I would cancel my order as I was not willing to wait an additional 30 minutes because I didn't take a seat or because someone was having a bad night. After I finally got her attention I asked why is it that my order is going to take an additional 30 minutes when the young man told me 10 minutes? She cut me off and said "because it is". So I politely asked her to cancel my order, to which she responded "Gladly!" She turned to the other guy and said loud enough for me to hear, "I don't care". I am not sure why my not wanting to sit caused such a problem but it has been quite a while since I ordered from Papa John's but that experience showed me that nothing has changed. There was nothing about my interaction that should've triggered the attitude that I received. However, if an establishment has a problem with me for no other reason than who I am then they can keep their food. If this behavior is limited to the employee then she should not be allowed to represent the company. The two customers ahead of me were both treated with respect. One was a woman the second was a man. Both were white. Sad times.
UPDATE** So a few weeks after this review the new manager contacted me about this experience. He stated that he was personally trying to change the image and service of his restaurant. He gave me coupons for free pizza to give them another chance. Admittedly I was not in a rush to go back. However I felt like he didn't have to reach out to me directly and do it himself so I agreed to try again. I finally was able to go back about a week ago and the service was definitely better. My order was ready and waiting. I did have to wait for an employee to realize that the line was backed up but once she noticed, she came over immediately and assisted with the customers. I would definitely agree that the service has improved greatly! I did not try the pizza so will have to do another review on that. The children did seem to...
Read moreUpdate: I was told to wait 25 minutes to pick up so I did, when I arrived the pizza was once again cold. Still no apology for any of what has happened. I just don't have any more time to waste on this tonight, so much for a convenient dinner while studying for exams.
I have never had anything bad to say about this location until today. Today I ordered and was told that it would be 45-59 minutes, which is fine. It showed up 98 minutes later cold and incomplete. I called and asked to have it remade and asked for some thing for all of the trouble plus my inconvenience of picking it up myself. I did pay a delivery fee. After 25 minutes going around and around the manager finally said that she would refund my delivery fee, which is what I wanted, but had been told that a partial refund was impossible. I asked for brownies in place of the delivery fee and was only then given what I asked for to begin with. We are super disappointed with the service tonight and hope that this is not the start of a...
Read moreHaven't had Papa Johns in a long time. But since I'm expecting I'm wanting some really good pizza. The 2 stars is due to me ordering our pizza about 30 minutes prior to me picking up. That would give me time to grocery shop pick up prescriptions and then drive 10 minutes to get my pizza. But I arrive and still have to wait an additional 25 minutes. Pregnant lady not happy come on Papa Johns. I would have gone elsewhere but I already payed. 😡 EDIT: my confirmation email was @6:45. It is now 7:45pm an hour for carry out pizza. The guy at register says oh another 10 minutes. 😡😡This is straight bullshit now. But offer nothing for the wait no money off no free item. Sitting in store writing this review
EDIT 10/9/16: My husband received a survey from our order and of course he filled it out. Well we received a call from the general manager to rectify this issue. We we're please with the outcome. So there for I am adjusting my review in accordance with the fast response...
