I don't love to leave anything other than 5 star reviews but my experience at this Applebee's left much to be desired. It took over 15 minutes for a server to approach me to even ask for beverages. This being when the place was less than half full. I asked for a water and a hot tea. The waiter appeared very confused and asked me if I wanted it sweetened. I assumed he was asking if I wanted sugar in it, so I said no. Turns out, he thought that they didn't have any hot tea and brought me an iced tea instead (after another 10 minute wait). That'd be all well and good, except he came back 5 minutes later with a hot tea after asking his manager. I'd say this is a failure of management to train staff to know basic components of the menu. My salad came without any silverware or napkins-again, management failure to ensure basic functions are being followed. The salad was fine, though the lettuce was perhaps a bit past its sell-by date. The waiter initially charged me for an iced tea which was more expensive than the hot tea, but I fixed this. The waiter did apologize at the end. Perhaps my experience was due to being a young adult on my own. I find that we are sometimes overlooked. I understand that tea and salad are not Applebee's most famous menu items, but I was nevertheless still quite disappointed with the experience. Management should do better to ensure staff are familiar with menu items and respond to customers in a...
Read moreHorrible! Disgusting. Absolutely terrible. If I could give no stars I would. We just stopped by this location because we were around the way. It was completely dead so we figured that means delicious fresh food but that's not at all what we were given. Food came out super fast yet the only thing that was hot was the plate it's self. How can that be possible? Then as they put the food in front of us just prestation alone made me want to throw up.
My husband ordered the honey pepper chicken with the mac and cheese and that came out like slop on a plate. Nothing but pasta drenched in some liquid. My daughter got pasta and mozzarella sticks with diced up chicken that seemed to be the same chicken I had inside my chicken tacos.
I ordered the chicken tacos and waffle fries. My tacos came out burnt and drenched in sweet sauce. Couldn't even eat it. The waffle fries were just thrown on a hot plate with the sauce just all nasty looking. I almost laughed. They tasted just liked they looked. Freezer burned.
My son he ordered the pizza and fries from the kids menu and the pizza was so white and pale. Looks like they just place it in a microwave for less than 30 seconds.
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WAS HOT BESIDES OUR PLATES!
we weren't even there five mins before getting all our food so how is that possible. We spent about $100 worth. Never will go to...
Read moreFirst, I’d like to say my server was so so sweet! I forget her name but she’s young with shoulder length blonde straight hair and bangs, she was a breath of fresh air and actually seemed happy to be there!! she didn’t mess up once and was very attentive. I ordered a red sangria to drink and it was delicious, my boyfriend ordered one too and we both noticed his was significantly stronger, which was odd but it didn’t ruin it. The mozzarella sticks are pretty good, fries are good. Get the artichoke dip, it is DELICIOUS. If you’re trying to stay healthy, they have low calorie options on the menu as well. They have lots of deals on the menu such as 2 meals for $26, 2 for $36 and two for $49 or something like that, and there were a good amount of meals to choose from, and you could mix and match which i liked. However, do not get the riblets. I did and it was a huge mistake. It tastes like rubber bands, you are better off trying a mcdonald’s mcrib. I’m so serious, the rest of the food wasn’t bad which is why i was so shocked how disgusting the riblets were. The place was pretty dead, granted we went on Thursday night. The atmosphere is very nice, i love the sports wall and the lighting is perfect. Overall i would recommend this place if you’re looking for a casual dinner for 2-4 people. just don’t...
