How this place has a 4.8 rating has to be a lie. I went here for my first and last time today and ordered a small side of rice, a Gyro and steak tacos. long story short they messed the gyro up and never put tzatziki sauce on it. so I called the store for a resolution. the store admitted to the fault but instead of refunding the gyro or bringing me the sauce I was told I would be refunded .75 cents. clearly this was not acceptable I paid for a Gyro I either get my food as ordered or I don't there is no in between. when I said this was not acceptable and asked to speak to a manager I was told he is busy and they hung up on me. I called back and asked for a manager. I was told he is busy so I said I will wait, they hung up on me a second time. I now have to drive down to the store to demand my money back. which they did a return as cash when I paid card and wasn't even the full amount I paid. also the only edible item I received was the rice. Tacos smelled like fish and...
Read moreThe gyro was okay, but definitely not worth $12—there wasn’t much meat at all. The Kalamata olives weren’t pitted, and my fiancée nearly broke her tooth on one. The rice was extremely bland and tasted like boxed Zatarain’s. Also for whatever bizarre reason they use Kraft singles in their empenadas.
On the positive side, the employees were friendly. However, I was shocked at what I saw after we finished eating and they were closing up: one of the employees was washing the mop head in the three-bay prep sink. Having worked in kitchens for over 20 years, I’ve never seen anything so unsanitary. Why would anyone think it’s acceptable to wash a mop—something that’s been on floors, bathrooms, and who knows where else—in the same sink used to prepare food and wash dishes? Completely...
Read moreThis small and clean restaurant has great, fresh, healthy and flavorful food. I ordered the Gyro platter. Comes with a gyro, Greek salad and a side of rice or fries ( I got fries). My gyro was packed with gyro meat very juice and flavorful, zatziki sauce and fresh salad mix, wrapped in a very warm and fresh pita bread and fries are made to order. For dessert I got the walnut baklava, it was soo good. Very flakey and the syrup was perfectly sweet. I can't wait to go back and try their Mexican food. Service was fast and friendly. I'll say be careful with the kalamata olives mine were not pitted, so when I bit on it, it...
