Amended: I went to the store and showed them the gristle and how badly burnt the wings were. The person who I originally spoke to on the phone was adamant that I could not get them remade or a refund even after telling them that I would gladly come in and show them the issue with the wings the man on the phone ended the conversation by calling me *sweetie ** in a condescending manner.I understand mistakes can happen in a busy kitchen but when they do occure at least try to fix them and make it right. I'm happy they did have someone on staff who is understanding of the situation when I popped in and they remade them without incident. I will put a picture of the wonderful coal fired wings that they remade for me , Sal's truly do have some of the best coal fired wings in the state but not the ones I had first received. Amended to three stars for having a great memebers on staff who can resolve these kind of issues in a quick efficient and courteous manner but still lacking with the initial individual on the phone who was rude I'll leave part of original reveiw up "Charred beyond recognition The coal fired wings I purchased were 27$ Keep in mind These aren't fried wings they are not suppose to look like burnt charcoal , I added a picture to compare what was on the website when I ordered compared to what I received so you can understand that this is the quality they put out the door that of a overcooked rubber boot " The first two pics are what I originally received the last one is the corrected remade kind

Went there for the first time a couple weeks ago. The young man who was our server was friendly and attentive. It’s a casual family restaurant a little nicer than a typical pizzeria. Food was a bit bland. We got the large steak calzone ($19) that was loaded with cheese and meat and was crispy on the outside, but needed more flavor (onions, garlic and some more spices would’ve helped). It was very large and filling and we had enough to take a few slices home and heat up the next day (it heated well in the toaster oven). The caprese salad ($10) was very disappointing and the reason for the low review for the food - it was very bland, consisting of 3 thin slices of tomato and 3 small pieces of mozzarella topped with some balsamic glaze. There was no basil at all. I’ve never had a caprese salad without basil on it. It also could've used a sprinkle of salt and olive oil. It didn’t look like the photo on the menu at all (which looked like a normal caprese salad that had basil on it). If we go back we’d stick to the takeout counter for pizza as it seems like that’s what they do best.

This is my first time ordering from this place but it won't be my last. I got the chicken gyro and my husband got the cheesesteak. My gyro was really good. I couldn't believe the size of chicken pieces that was put on. They were great! The garlic knots had just the right amount of garlic and butter per knot and the mozz sticks were so good and cheesy. The fries for my gyro were a tad rubbery when they got here so I will ask next time for them on the side. A vented container would be a good idea. The delivery guy was nice and the person on the phone was too. Overall very good experience.

Awesome Food For A Food Lover Such As My Self Especially Since I'm Kinda Sort Of A Hearty Man That Loves Some Good Food Unfortunately I Didn't Have No Pics For This However I Will Give Them A Five And Just Say This Much If Ever I Do Come Back To This Establishment That I Will Definitely Take On The So Called 24inch Sandwich BECAUSE Whoever Said That The Twelve Inch Was Big Definitely Misled Me, & Just A Heads Up To The Staff Always Be Respectful Above And Beyond Because You Just Never Know Who Actually Does Come To eat Within Your Establishment So Please Don't Keep Up Your Discrimination Against The Minority Customer That Does Come In To Fine Dine With Any & All Nationalities That Partake & Or Come To Your Establishment To Enjoy The Dining With Friends Of STATUS CAUSE IM CASE YOU HAVE REALIZED AT THE END OF THE DAY WE ARE ALL "HUMAN-BEINGS"... SO THE FOOD WAS GREAT WHICH IS WHY I GAVE THE FIVE STAR RATING HOWEVER THE CUSTOMER CARE DOES NEED A MAJOR UPGRADE CAUSE GEESH THE IGNORANCE IS TOTALLY NOT NEEDED AND I QUOTE WHAT ONE OF MY FRIENDS SAID TO ME FROM OUR LAST MEET THERE( WOW WE ALL ORDERED HOT FOOD & OURS CAME BEFORE YOURS DID ? WHEN YOU ONLY ORDERED A 12INCH TUNA SANDWICH THAT RESEMBLED A 6 & HALF TO AN 8 INCH GO FIGURE🤔 ?) WHICH BETWEEN 5 TO TEN MINUTES AFTER EVERYBODY ELSE STARTED🤔 WOW THAT REALLY DID GIVE ME SOMETHING TO DWELL ON & THINK ABOUT GET THE BIGGER PICTURE EQUALITY IS FOR...

They have good food. But who ever takes the take out orders don't write them down correctly or the cooks don't read them correctly. Are family orders there atless 2 times a week and ever time we get are order there are either one or two things missing or it's not made right and every order we spend atless $60/$100 or more cause it's a family of 7.just to nite I order a few thing for dinner and they messed it up and it was the kids food this time and I was so mad cause it was kids spag well I got just 3 meatballs no spag(and I didn't even order meatballs)and it took them almost 20 mins to bring spag back and only live right around the corner. I work in the restaurant industry and when ever the cook or a server made a mistake or just messed up the order they where always told to offer a free dessert but not sals cause if they did we would be getting a free dessert everytime we ordered. I have no complaints about the food it is good but the service sucks for delivery like I said who ever takes the order and or the kitchen is to blame too. Who ever take the take out orders they need to listen to what people are ordering and read back the order to the person. I like the food but hate that everytime we order it gets messed up and it is very disappointing to where I hate to order...
