For the most part, the food at Italian Street is quite good. However, if you're ordering by phone, cross your fingers that the owner answers the phone. He's always polite and he listens and he takes your water and it gets here very quickly. When his wife answers the phone, she's always rude and short-tempered. And told me once that I couldn't get regular bread instead of focaccia bread because focaccia bread comes with the order, and if I want the regular bread or Italian bread I would have to pay for an order of bread. I told her to forget it. Sometimes when she answers, I just hang up. Today, I called and gave him my order and forgot to tell him that I don't want the focaccia bread, so I called back. Unfortunately the woman answered the phone and would not even let me say my entire phone number. She kept interrupting with area code 609? I had to say it five times because when I finally got the whole thing out which I said loudly and carefully, she said could you say that more slowly. I told her I was calling because I didn't want the focaccia bread. she told me she was canceling my order and hung up on me. I called back several times and, after hanging up on me several times she listened to me and then wanted to know what kind of bread did I want a roll of Italian bread. Said I believe he usually sends the Italian bread. Then, he called me and told me that the woman was his wife and that I was no longer welcome in the restaurant. The poor man is so henpecked he doesn't mind sending away a good customer to make her happy. I'm sorry that I can't get their food anymore, but if she's rude to more people like that, I won't be the only...

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the culinary delights of this Italian restaurant, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! Whether you're dining in or opting for take-out, this place delivers excellence in every aspect.
Let's talk about the menu. It's incredibly rich and diverse, offering a wide array of Italian classics and gourmet creations. From homemade soups and appetizers like bruschetta and fried calamari to exquisite pasta dishes like Bolognese and Carbonara, there's something to tantalize every taste bud.

I can't overlook the exceptional service provided by the staff. Whether dining in or picking up an order, the team here goes above and beyond to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreUpdate: The owner did call the next day, which I appreciate. He sent over pizzas, salad & dessert to make up & make right for what happened. Order take out at 6:52pm not knowing they closed at 8pm, also was not told by the person answering the phone. Place my order said I would be paying cash & was told the delivery should be 40-60 minutes but she definitely said it would be before 60 minutes. No big deal, but they should inform you the restaurant & kitchen could be closed by the time you get your order. Order received & taking it out for the bag my sonās dinner is missing completely, thatās my biggest concern plus I just paid cash & tip. When I call twice to get someone to answer, I just got an apology for my sonās dinner missing which I paid for & the kitchen is closed & we will give you a credit or cash back & the response was so scripted making you wonder how much they do this when cash is involved. I asked for the owner to call me tonight, was told they may be too busy. Is a customer always right retail 101??? I was trying to support a different local business but learned my lesson stick with the local businesses you know definitely not this one. Still waiting for that phone, Tuesday night must...
