We read it was a five star restaurant so we thought we would try it. We went in there and immediately we got our chips and salsa. The salsa was pretty watered down. Some of the family couldn’t eat it. Made our order and got some cheese sauce. It was almost 5 dollars for a small bowl, The kids ordered chicken tenders and fries, and the tenders didn’t taste like chicken. It was packed hard and taste like fish and I did not take their word for it. I tried it myself. It was horrible as I asked for a refund on the chicken tender meal, she would only give me one refund cost me $60 for three meals off of the kids menu and two tacos and a little chicken and rice. Way too expensive overall the lady was a smart alec I did not leave a tip. I was very disappointed. I would not recommend this to anybody! We have been here several times and have enjoyed it, until tonight. They are now charging outrageous prices for stuff I have never heard of. They charged me 60 cents for a lemon wedge for my glass of water. They charged TEN DOLLARS for a ala-cart enchilada (a burrito al-cart is $6.50) then they charged $4.00 to put a drizzle of cheese on top of the enchilada. Their excuse on the price for the enchilada was that they added rice and beans, but we did not order the R&B. So they charged us 3.75 for something we didn't order. When we complained at the register that we didn't order it she got the manager who came and said he would not be taking off the bill even though we didn't eat it. I found this place while searching out random places to eat in somerset and boy they didn't disappoint. They have such a nice family feel environment, and you feel it as soon as you walk in and recieve a warm welcome from one of the owners. They serve the typical tex-mex style dishes but they do offer some authentic dishes that will make you want to come back for more. The service is great but the only thing from making this a 5 star review is the time it takes to prepare a full set of dishes. Naturally that is the only drawback as many of these dishes are made fresh to order.
