My wife and I were thrilled to discover this gem of a restaurant in Somerset. If you are in search of fine dining, this is the place for you. I had the Bison filet and my wife had the trout. Both were expertly prepared. I think I will always get the Bison as long as it is on them menu. It was that good. The chef, Jake, came out and spoke to us. He described many of the entrees and appetizers in detail. It was clear that he was passionate about sourcing his ingredients and how he prepared his dishes. This restaurant is a welcomed addition to the area and we are certain given their attention to detail, service, and quality, they will continue to enjoy great success. We highly recommend them.

Here I must also make a note about their bar and cocktail selections. If you like to drink, read their drink menu. They have some very interesting concoctions. Of course they have a full bar, but you do not often get the level of creativity from a cocktail menu. Check it out. They also have a great wine selection too.

Special thanks to the manager Chris and staff who went out of their way to make our anniversary special.

Finally, I was shocked to read that someone gave this place one star. Shocked! I travel across the U.S. on business and I can tell you that this place is not expensive for a fine dining experience. Again, it is fine dining and not the "Cracker Barrel." Don't get me wrong, I like that place too. Somerset needs a fine dining experience. This...

Amazing all around!!! Absolutely beautiful atmosphere with an intimate and cozy setting. My date and I were very pleasantly impressed. We didn't have a reservation as we made a mutual impromptu decision to try the stillhouse over a different restaurant we had originally picked and they quickly found us a perfect table. Staff was very attentive and present without being overbearing. Our waiter, I believe it was Nick?, was very busy and still made us feel like a priority, I know his job isn't easy but he made it look effortless. Food was exactly what you would expect it to be in this place. Perfection, beautiful to look at, made with love, and most importantly it tasted like it was well worth the expense, completely satisfied. I have severe food aversions and allergies and this staff went above and beyond to make sure I was made to feel heard and understood. Our chef was very engaging and I love his personality, It's always nice to meet the person who made such an amazing dinner, He even recommended this amazing little speakeasy jazz bar relatively across the street, I love the local business camaraderie!! I'm pretty sure we will be back sometime soon. Nothing negative to say, 20/10 recommend for a...

Oh my, what a welcomed additional to the area. Balanced menu offerings, fair pricing given market prices right now, and a remarkable wine and bourbon selection.

Quick side note, whoever made the playlist deserves a bonus. Solid variety, grade A background vibe, but whoever put a couple of songs on by Cannons is the best human in Somerset. Amazing choices, that was a true delight throughout dinner.

Some things that need to be fixed: 1- Made a reservation for a table, and was seated at the bar. Not mission critical this trip so we didnt say anything, but this is not common restaurant practice. Adjust your Opentable settings to reflect that option. You do not make reservations for a bar unless you are a lounge. 2- The Little Gem Salad was 1/3rd Frisee, not cool. Give me 100% little gem for that price salad, I paid for it. 3- For the love of God, please clean the globes/lights above the bar. You are too new to have so much dust build up on those. So I had to sit at the bar that I didn't reserve and then stare at those poor things. Too many great details going for you guys skip that one.

Love the place, see...

They definitely know what they're doing! I came here with my staff for my last day of work in Somerset, Every aspect of our visit was impressive and graceful. The food was outstanding! Sarah our server was amazing! We started with the home baked sour dough bread and charcuterie board. After eating every bite, we all ordered full entrees and ate every bite of that before finishing with the bread pudding. This place is giving Michelin star restaurants a good run for the money. The prices are surprisingly affordable for the quality. The stillhouse secured a spot on my future recommended list. Oh, and if you don't like grits (like me), order them anyway! I ate every bite and wanted more. The chef will even tell you the story of where he got the recipe 🙂. 5 stars 🌟 Update: stayed a few extra days and went back. Everything was, again, incredible, including service by Sarah. I might make the 2 hour trip to come back regularly.

I sat at the bar on a Friday night and enjoyed the fellowship of regular locals and friendly visitors. The perfectly portioned Lemon-Ricotta Ravioli was absolutely delicious with the lemon taste lingering in my mouth with every bite. Enjoyed watching Abby the bartender shake beautiful and tasty cocktails. Bees Knees for the win! She provided excellent service and thoughtfully engaged in conversation. I will be back soon!
