Placed a rather large order for my wife and I. Did a quick check in the car to make sure the items were there. Due to the fact that the containers were hot, it was hard to clearly see into each container but I trusted that it was accurate. It wasn't until I got home and set the food on the table that I realized my wife's orange chicken was missing and there was some kind of beef meal instead. I took the food back to the restaurant and mentioned that I had received beef instead of orange chicken. The woman took the container and confirmed that it was supposed to be orange chicken. She asked that I wait and it would be right out. Approximately 15 minutes later I was presented with a brown paperback with the orange chicken inside. She proceeded to say "Thank you." And walked away. At no point during this second visit did I receive an apology for having to drive back to the restaurant or for the 15 minute wait for the food. It almost made me feel like I was inconvenience to them for noticing the error in the order. I had already left a tip but had I be presented with the opportunity to take it back, I would. I assumed the beef would have been offered back to us as part of an apology since we opened it rather than let it go to waste unless of course it's going to be given to the next customer who orders it. Had I received a simple "SORRY" I'd continue to support Yomato but they proved to me that they really don't care about anything except selling their food. Good customer service is obviously not a...
Read moreMy husband and I frequently drive by this place and thought weâd give it a try for lunch. First off Iâll start with the positive. Outside it looks like an old retro 60s type diner. The inside is redone beautifully. Nice booths/bar/decor. The negative is upon entering the restaurant we were greeted rudely; hell we werenât even greeted. Now mind you the restaurant was empty. Not a single person in there aside from the staff and what appeared to be their children walking around. We were instructed to âthis wayâ and as we sat down âdo you want a drink?â. No hello. No welcome. No professional etiquette whatsoever. We kindly asked for a moment to review the menu and the waitress said âSo no drink then?â Almost like she was impatient or we were impeding on her watching tv. As she walked away we up and left. At this time we noticed some of the tables on the other side had their personal belongings scattered all over them as if they were home or something. Very unappealing. Maybe they are used to having no customers around the place. Gee. I wonder why. Will never give them a try again. Couldnât tell you how the food was because the service alone is enough to drive paying customers away. Should have listened to the previous reviews about the place. If I could give 0...
Read moreWe've given them a few chances but after today's order we won't be back. We haven't eaten inside since before the pandemic which was pretty decent. We have been ordering takeout the past couple of years and every time it's a nightmare. If you call to order they tell you to order online and hang up on you. When you order online you are given a time frame of when your meal is ready and it is NEVER accurate. So pretty much figure about an hour after the time your given is when you might get your food. When you get there to pick it up you are left waiting forever in a disorganized line where staff pretty much ignore you until they can't anymore. The food isn't even good or worth the wait at this point. The sushi was falling apart and a mess, fried rice is just plain rice with a little soy sauce on it. Beef and broccoli used such low quality meat- it was nasty. The salad was like 2 pieces of lettuce, crab Rangoon stale and hardly any filling...I could go on and on. Normally I'd call and address it with the business directly but you can't reach a person that will talk to you. They clearly don't have enough staff to operate adequately. I don't understand where all these positive reviews come from. Majority of our dinner went right in the trash- it...
