I removed my previous review as many changes have been made at this location. Some new pros, some new cons, most of the same regarding both.
Regarding the location itself, it's quite easy to spot. It's in a small strip mall across from Rite-Aid. I've added photos to clarify what you should be looking for. It's easy to see, but parking is just not what you'd want to see for more than 3 stores in the same area. There is never available parking. ever. Why don't they simply use the opposite, completely empty side of the parking lot as well? That would allow for significantly more parking availability.
The line system is a bit confusing, mainly if you're hungover or lacking in sleep, as you have to move to the right and do an about-face to actually be in line. Many customers are confused by this. Once you place your order (which is confusing, as regular coffee is occasionally being traded over your head for "quick order" customers. Sbux has the same issue, to be fair. The staff is (mostly) friendly and courteous, however.
Now, for the good stuff! They always have fantastic displays of their donuts, sandwiches, etc. while you're waiting in line. I've added a photo of one of my favourites. Kudos to the employee who made this beauty. 👍(I promise you that the photo doesn't do it justice.) It looks great in person. I've also always enjoyed DD coffee. I'm from the Midwest, so our two choices of classy coffee have always been McDonald's and Dunkin Donuts. Needless to say, this store makes fantastic coffee, every time. I have no complaints there. Never burnt, always quick. Not watery and gross. A+. As for the donuts... They're a solid 5/10. They're your standard fare donuts that you could buy at a grocery store, but cheaper. Maybe if they had the donuts on a heating rack they would be better? The blueberry muffins are a dream, especially if you ask for them to warm it for you. Biting into one is like saying "bye fallicia it's still summer in my mind"
There is one final, very unfortunate item I must address: The online ordering system. I ordered some donuts and coffee, hit ready to pick up in the app (the app is great, no issues there) and when I came to pick them up they were at the very back of the pickup lane (photo attached of the lane) there seems to be a perpetual wheel of customers in a hurry, swarming the pickup line. I tried calling out to say "that's my order!" But was told that I needed to go into line and place an order. What? Anyway, I just grabbed my order and left, with a bunch of angry stares from the wheel of sharks waiting for their orders. Overall a terrible experience. I wouldn't mind waiting in line if they had the orders ready to go behind the counter and asked for my name. Easy peasy.
So why did I give this DD 4 stars and not 2 of 3? Because someone there actually cares and might take some customer suggestions to heart. I mean, thdy put a lot of time into that display. Surely they want their restaurant to function as beautifully as their displays.i truly hope that we CAN...
Read moreIf I could rate this place zero stars I would. This place specially on the weekends has some of the worst customer service I’ve ever seen they don’t care about your order or the fact that you are the customer, they will give you an attitude and get mad when you ask for something specific or in my case something very small. All I asked for was a small hot chocolate no whip cream and I specifically specified to the guy at the register no whip cream then gets mad at me when I told him he got my order wrong like I was at fault when I clearly don’t work there and he was the one making the hot chocolate. On top of that another customer got into an argument with the employee because the employee had a horrible attitude, I didn’t even bother taking pictures so I suggest to others don’t even bother coming to this Dunkin’ Donuts specially on the weekends when both people that work there are just horrible With customer...
Read moreWorst experience at any Dunkin’ in my entire experience going to Dunkin’s. I first ordered a medium vanilla light iced coffee and asked if they had the bacon egg and cheese croissant which the worker chose to ignore and kept getting irritated with me. Then my boyfriend orders his coffee and sandwich which they kept saying which sandwich to him and they only have the one sourdough breakfast sandwich in which he kept stating. Then she asked if that was all and I was like um no I still haven’t ordered a sandwich apparently so I can I get the bacon egg and cheese one. So she put it in and said the total. And then we received the items my coffee was not even iced nor even close to what I wanted. 0/10 experience. If I could I would...
