Chickpea falafels are excessively salty and rather mediocore in taste. It used to be a lot better int taste and flavor. They offer some other vegetarian options but nothing too exciting due to similar saltiness that drowns all other flavor.
The establishment isn't clean and doesn't have an inviting pretty interior and can use some remodeling. I happened to see that the staff was preparing the ingredients inside a plastic bin placed on the floor while pouring lemon juice into it and mixing it up. That didn't looked to me to be a food safe plastic bin, more like a dish washing pan and pouring acid into plastic is never a good idea.
The store is excessively hot during summers with improper ventilation and that contributes to the unhygienic stuffing atmosphere. The worker can be seen dripping his sweat onto the countertop.
Also they serve nothing but a very poor sugary selection of artificially flavored drinks. Given the saltiness and spiciness of the food, be prepared to carry/find a healthier drink option.
The staff are good mannered and friendly. Local small businesses should be supported above corporate food outlets but nevertheless I am not impressed...
Read moreI wanted to like this place so badly but, after finally convincing my husband to order shawarma, this is going in our never again pile. First, the online system kept our order as "pending" for an abnormal period of time. Then, when it was past the allotted delivery time, our order was marked as "removed" when I called up to find out what was going on, 40 minutes after placing the order, we were told it was no where to be found. I was told they would call me back in 5 minutes but after 15 minutes of hearing nothing my husband decided to go to the store. 5 minutes later they were outside but the order was missing half the items. DO NOT get the lentil soup. It looks nothing like the picture and smells like it is just butter. I honestly couldn't bring myself to taste it because it looked that gross and I love lentil soup. If the service had even been somewhat okay, I would not be writing this but right now I am hungry...
Read moreTitle: Unreal Mixed Shawarma – No Pita, No Problem!
This was hands down the best shawarma I’ve ever had! I ordered a mixed shawarma without pita, and it was an absolute flavor explosion. The combination of juicy, perfectly spiced chicken and lamb was beyond incredible—tender, smoky, and packed with bold, authentic flavors. The crispy edges added the perfect texture, making every bite even more satisfying.
Even without pita, the dish stood on its own. The fresh toppings—crisp lettuce, juicy tomatoes, and tangy pickles—balanced the richness of the meat perfectly. And the sauce? Absolutely unreal. Creamy, garlicky, and just the right amount of tangy, it tied everything together beautifully.
Portions were generous, service was top-notch, and I already know I’ll be back. If you’re a shawarma lover, this place is...
