On April 7th, we ordered 2 pizzas through the online dominos website and paid $50, after it was all said and done. When we received the pizzas there was no pizza sauce on either pizza and no extra cheese like we had ordered. I called the South Boston Virginia location and spoke with the manager on duty the night of April 7th, 2025. The manager was a woman, I did not get her name, however, she was extremely disrespectful and did not want to make things right. She continually said that we had made a mistake when ordering and that we could just pay for the two pizzas again, in order to fix the situation. Oh, just another $50 bucks, no big deal!! 😂 I was determined never to go back to the restaurant . The following day my friend went to the Domino's store in South Boston Virginia and took both pizzas back. He was met by Amond, the manager on duty the day of April 8th. Amond went above and beyond to make things right and we received the best pizzas that we have ever had from dominos. Unfortunately not all employees at that location are as customer friendly as he was. We give Amond 5 stars for his professionalism and politeness. Hopefully Dominos will weed out the bad...

This establishment has been in South Boston long enough to know when an order is being placed for delivery to 2135 Philpott Rd that is ABB, which is a business. Which means the person placing the order is on their LUNCH BREAK; which is normally 30 mins. I placed this order for a team of guys who worked through their break and they didn't actually break until the pizza was expected to be delivered according to the pizza tracker. When it wasn't delivered, I called the store and was told the pizza was out for delivery but they didn't have a driver available when the pizza was ready. The pizza was delivered an hour later than the time the pizza tracker showed it was out for delivery...COLD! Common sense would tell me to call the person and let them know the pizza would be later than expected. I would have been happy to pick it up! But because common sense isn't common the team's lunch break was destroyed! I wouldn't be so upset if I hadn't paid for the pizza when I ordered it online because I would've sent it back. Thanks...
Read moreFood is good but service has been terrible recently. Several orders were either incorrect, missing items, or severely delayed. Mobile order stated 20-30 minutes for delivery which I expected within an hour but almost 2 hours for it to be delivered is a bit ridiculous. I know the location was understaffed due to covid as most restaurants are but the mobile app should be updated for days where they are very short staffed. On top of issues with the orders calling the location is useless as they do not answer the phone. Again I understand the understaffing however it is frustrating when you expect your order within a certain time frame. I will say my last order was supposed to be delivered and 2 hours later it had not even been made. I made a trip up there and spoke with the manager who stated they were very behind and apologized for the inconvenience, refunded the order and they expedited the order through the line.
