Very horrible service! After months with no nails I decided to stop in and try this place. Worst decision I ever made. My nails are bulky , uneven , horribly shaped , and half polished. After nicely asking Lena to reshape my nails so that they are all even and all square she decided to be very rough with my hands and rude. She jabbed my finger a couple times with the nail bit after I complained and rushed to throw some polish on top. Some of my nails are still round, I have several nails that are different lengths and some I can see through the polish. The nail shop was completely quiet until I complained then she wanted to talk to other co workers like I don't realize she was talking about me. After I complained a second time about one nail being longer than the other she decides to throw her mask and ask someone else to look at my nails. ..... after realizing my nails will not be corrected I decided to pay so that I could leave. This woman decides that she is going to over charge me 12 dollars cause she felt like my short baby nails that she made all different sizes were too long and an extra 5 dollars for her terrible shaped coffin nails . After she talked about me again to her friends in the salon she decided to lower the price to what it should be . She wanted to watch me sign my receipt and she received 0 dollars on the receipt for tips so she decides she snatch the receipt once I was done signing. I bought a gift certificate from Polished@Greenridge for my daughter. My daughter wanted to get it done on Sunday which was the day before school started. Polished @Greenridge was closed. So she called polished @Pelham Since they were open on Sunday. She asked before making the appointment if she could use the gift certificate from polished @Greenridge. Polished on Pelham said yes that they could since they are the same business. After the pedicure they said that they are not the same business and they could not accept the gift certificate. So my daughter had to pay out of her own pocket. I called and spoke with someone there and they said they would never do that that my daughter must be mistaken . Of course when my daughter made the appointment on Wednesday for days in advance if they said they would not accept the gift certificate she obviously would not have made the appointment. I’ve now had two terrible experiences here. I keep going back because it’s very close to my house and when you get the right person, it’s ok. But unfortunately, I would not recommend the majority of the technicians here. Today I went in for a gel manicure. Everything was fine until the polish. I like my nails short, so I have them cut each time. She polished my whole finger with the clear polish. I thought for sure she’d clean it up after. When we were done I asked if she could clean the clear polish off my fingers. She took a nail file and started filing my finger. I immediately told her that hurt and asked if we could use acetone instead. She told me no, and that it was my fault because my nails are so short. She told me to go home and shower and scrub and it would eventually come off of my fingers. Not to mention they charge $36 for a gel mani which is more than other...
