China Delight — Restaurant in South Carolina

My husband and I ordered takeout from China Delight last night for dinner, and had it delivered. We each ordered the General Tso chicken. I got mine with the plain lo mein instead of rice and the crab rangoon side. My husband got his with the pork fried rice and the egg roll side. The egg roll and fried rice were mediocre. Not bad, but not great. The lo mein was actually pretty decent, but not worth the extra $1.75 upcharge, especially when you consider there was no meat or veggies in it. The crab rangoon filling was delicious, but the casing was chewy and old. We both agreed that our chicken was spiced decently (tasted like general tso, but a bland version). HOWEVER - the breading was completely soft and soggy. The whole meal tasted and texturally felt like it was dished up off a buffet line, as if was simply cooked and then kept warm until someone wanted it. Unless something changes, we won't be ordering...

I normally don't leave reviews but I had to come on here to let people know that this restaurant is just not it. It was the only restaurant open on the forth of july and I was craving chinese food. I ordered a steak and teriyaki chicken blend w/ pork fried rice and an eggroll. The meat was not only bland w/ very little sauce and seasoning but it had a gooy, gritty texture that was very unpleasant. The rice was dry and the eggroll had little to no filling. Customer service was good that's why I gave 2 stars instead of 1 but definitly won't be going back when there are way better options...

This place was terrible. First of all, the egg rolls are tiny. The plain egg roll is nothing but tasteless boiled cabbage. The shrimp egg roll had one piece of shrimp-flavored mush. The sesame chicken had barely any flavor, and what flavor it did have was flat and just nasty. As for the "pork fried rice;" there was barely any pork in it at all, and it was actually Uncle Ben's fried rice. This place made a mockery of Chinese restaurants everywhere.
