This is very disheartening and frustrating for me to post but I feel like it has to be done. Today, we went for Sunday lunch and had a very poor experience at the Boiling Springs location. After sitting there for 10-15 minutes with no service, our order was finally taken by our waitress. Granted, they were busy, but I’ve seen the Eastside location give immediate service to their customers when they are much busier than this location AND with having limited staff. We waited on our order for 30 minutes or so. We asked a bus boy if he could ask our waitress about the status of our order (we could not get her attention), when he turned around to go ask her, she started coming out with our food. When she was encountered by the bus boy who asked her about it, she turned around and made us wait on our food for an additional 5 minutes (we knew once we saw her come out of the kitchen it was our order, and we saw her intentionally turn around and make us wait). When we did get our food, our waitress slammed it down on the table, she did not acknowledge our thank you’s or apologies for asking about the status- she just ignored us completely and wouldn’t look at us. This was our service for the rest of our visit. Near the end of our visit, we did manage to finally get the attention of another waiter who was glad to help us out but after all that, it really just left a sour taste in our mouths. It was quite a shame. Now although I really hate doing this I must say, to one waitress from another, learn not to take things personally. Read moreThe food looked plentiful but was not eaten. If plentiful is what you come for, then you will be satisfied. The worst part was one of the waiters who apparently was having a bad day. He must have thought I didn't understand Spanish. Not only did he treat my guest and I with frustration and disdain when I asked politely for tortillas (that they forgot to bring to the table to go with the ordered fajitas), but also said some things that made me question the safety of trusting them with our food. Needless to say, we paid for our food, and left as fast as possible. BEFORE eating. I was very disappointed that this waiter was trusted with the reputation, care of their patrons, and the food of this establishment. I just do not think it is safe to eat at a restaurant where they employ waiters that make us question the safety of the food. Be wary. Be aware. ADDENDUM: If you eat at this restaurant, please check your receipt The prices on the menu are NOT the same as on your bill This was noticed later at the house. Also, they charged a fee for using a debit card. The fee was 86 cents. Not much but it surprised me bc a debit card is instantaneously charged. The money comes out right away. I have NEVER had a restaurant do this before. Read morethe last three times I've got food to go here the past month and a half, I've had stale white chips every time! And tonight I think is it for me. I had an easy order for 3 tacos and a spicy cheese dip to go. I got plain, not spicy cheese dip (not a big problem) then got stale chips again and the food is just not seasoned at all here lately. Plus with the lack luster customer service while simultaneously being asked for a tip on a togo order EVERY TIME is the last straw.
again and again, I've had stale food and simple orders messed up. I'll for now on go somewhere that can at least get my order right and not serve stale chips over and over again. Even tho I'll leave a tip when asked, I also think I'll find somewhere that doesn't pressure me into tipping for a bagged togo order every, single, time. The customer service is trash, the food is stale, and the order is 40% of the time messed up or missing items. I'll tip but not for this kind of service and stale/messed up orders.
