I've been going here for years getting a c18 boneless spare ribs and pork fried rice went there commented about the fried rice before I even left got home and I got the sorriest yellow fried rice that's at least two days old it has at least half of onion in it and it has no pork in it it's supposed to be pork fried rice so I called up there spoke to who supposed to be the manager said bring my food back up there and we will make you another I said no because you're not paying for my gas to drive back up there it should have been cooked right the first time or you should at least offer me a free one or at least half off my next order but did not want to bother about it I asked to speak to the owner and he said the owner couldn't be bothered. So I proceeded to tell him and no uncertain terms that Mexicans cannot fix Chinese food you used to have all Chinese people back they're cooking now you have Mexicans back they're fixing these dishes I said well then have your cook make me a fresh one and have him delivered to my house since you want to say that the cookbring it to me oh he couldn't do that either so I have every intention of making it my personal mission to make them lose as much money as possible. I've been going there since they opened and the past couple years it has steadily went downhill because of who they have cooking their food this was the second time this has happened and there will not be a third time I would not recommend China House to anybody that wants Chinese the portions have gotten smaller the price has went up and the food has gotten sorry yer do to who they have cooking it.. do not go to China House for Chinese food beside food Lion in Red Bank. They obviously don't care about dedicated customers that have been coming to their establishment from day one.

I don't remember the exact date the 28th of 29th of November went back to try again same order same stupidity had one piece of pork in my pork fried rice half an onion I told the lady before I went up there about the problems I had before she assured me that everything would be fine I opened it up there in front of her there was one piece of pork on the top so I thought well I guess they got it right this time went home dumped it out on a plate lo and behold one piece of pork in my pork fried rice and a half an onion call back up there got told the same thing again oh I'm sorry come back up here and we'll fix it no I've wasted my time and gas so you need to fix it and bring it to me not me go back up there waste more time and gas which I'm not getting reimbursed for because for whatever reason you can't seem to get the pork fried rice with pork in it and it wasn't no Chinese person cooking the rice again it's going to sound racist but I don't care Mexican people cannot fix Chinese I don't want my pork fried rice with half an onion no pork and very well done. So as I sit here in the parking lot at exactly 10p.m. I came here based off the time they were open and my current location. They state on website and their store door, and menu they are OPEN UNTIL 10:30. I walk in and as I stand at the corner I see the typical 'we almost closed look's. So I ask the first guy who approaches me if the time was okay to order to-go, he states yes. I order 28$ worth of to-go food. This lady runs out the back after he states 10 minutes until the orders ready, as I walk away she says STAY right here we are almost closed. Its 9:45, I said dont you close at 10:30... No we close at 10:10. Even with that being said that's ample time and YOU aren't closed. I haven't been upset by someone in a restaurant/service industry in awhile. 'I'm a chef/cook/service worker of 20+yrs' I know the drills. I wanted to cancel my order after voicing about the lies about closing at 10:10 and that's its visible EVERYWHERE when they actually closed. I voiced myself to 2 people while I waited on my food and then again to the young guy they had bring my food to the counter. The younger of all was the only one to address their rudeness and attitude. All this while they received call ins and walk-ins. Not a word said to anyone else after me and my expression to the RUDE lady who was firing her voice throughout the business with her frustrations of CUSTOMERS ordering and calling to their business with over and half hour left in their...

The food is nothing to write home about. It was pretty average. Below average is the experience. Not friendly. The place has not been updated since it opened. NO DRINK CUPS. I ordered a tea and came in the same quart cup the soup comes in. I asked for a cup and she gave me the same type but is was a 1/2 quart soup cup. The kind that has that hard plastic ring around the top. Not for drinking. Then I asked for ice......NO ICE. What kind of restaurant doesn't have ice?? If you don't have ice or cups, just don't make tea. Provide bottled tea like your other drinks.

Remove the faded hangings, get cups and ice and a fountain machine, update the paint, fix the broken ceiling tiles, clean the grease off the ceiling tiles, make it look like a real business, and try to be a little more friendly to you customers. Nobody likes to go in a business and feel like they are bothering the staff when they are trying to buy something and spend money. That is kind of what you want them to do right? So act like you appreciate it and not like its a bother.

As soon as another chinese restaurant opens in this area, this place will be in trouble. It won't take much to get all their customers so I would take this criticism to heart and make some...
