China King — Restaurant in South Carolina

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I called and said delivery and made a large lunch order, she puts me on hold multiple times because she can’t figure out how to run the credit card machine, after she takes my card number she then tells me they are not doing delivery, I said that’s fine just put the order in and we will come pick it up because it took forever just to take my order, she tells me OK food will be ready in 20 minutes, my husband goes to pick up the food and there is no order. My husband then asked her three times “did you take an order and you did not put it in?” She tells him no she hasn’t taken any orders and there are no orders ready for pick up, my husbands on the phone with me telling me there’s no orders so I told him stay in there while I call to make sure that you’re at the right place. I called and the same lady picks up the phone and tells me I’m sorry there are no orders, I asked her if she remembered me and I made a large order 20 minutes ago and I told her I would come and pick it up and she said yes but I did not put an order sorry. Why not just tell my husband that instead of making him stay in there thinking he’s in the wrong place! Needless to say he left no food kids at home waiting for lunch she never put...

Convenient location, excellent service & (according to my brother) great food! While I was the one who called to inquire about prices, my brother is the one who actually got the takeout. He comes here often because he enjoys the food. When I called, the gentleman who helped answer my questions was knowledgeable, patient & very helpful.

Currently, as of September 6, 2020, they are taking takeout & to go orders through a system they set up at the front door. You can see this for yourself in the video I uploaded. So if you're concerned about protecting yourself from COVID19, they seem to be taking extensive precautions.

This night they weren't very busy, however, just a few days ago there were about 20-30 people lined up outside to pickup their orders. Obviously they're doing something right to have that kind of turnout considering the amount of similar restaurants in this area.

I recommend calling ahead when placing an order and as far as online menus, Grubhub's seems to be correct. Other menu site's are not so just be aware of this. I would definitely give it a shot if you're in the mood for great Chinese food &...

This restaurant is situated in a small shopping plaza located in Lexington, SC. We've visited them twice over the past month, before I decided to complete my review. So you can call in or stop by in person to place your order. We decided to call in our order and for the most part it was easy.

Everything we ordered came out very quick and hot. This restaurant leaves comdoniments (plastic ware, salt and pepper, etc.) outside for their customers. On both incidents that we ordered from this restaurant, we felt like our food was kind of salty.
