Duck Donuts — Restaurant in South Carolina

Tldr: THESE ARE SO GOOD DONT SLEEP ON THEM. Great first visit, I am now a life time customer omg I did not know donuts could taste so good.

So, I’m visiting from out of town, and just wanted a doughnut. So I plug a donut into Google maps and a bunch of Duncan and Krispy Kreme came up but I wanted to try something a little more unique and I hadn’t heard of duck donuts so I said why not. Went in, The man who I believe was the manager saw my look of confusion, and asked me if I had ever been in before, I said no. He explained the process that everything is made to order and walked me through what was available. Gave me plenty of time to peruse at my own pace and did not rush me, very nice, and I ordered when I was ready. I ordered 3. The blueberry pancake the French toast and the strawberry confetti off the fan favorites. With pandemic seating there was no seating, so I went to a nearby park to eat at a picnic table, I opened my box, and took my first bite of the blueberry pancake donut. It was SO good. SO GOOD!! I put it down to call the store back to thank them for making such a fantastic donut. I then inhaled my other 2. Highly recommended. Will def be going back for more.

After much anticipation for the arrival of Duck Donuts in Greenville. I made it to opening day on June 6th. And again today almost a week later made my second visit. This time, I actually got to go inside the store and see the uniqueness that is Duck Donuts. They have a cute set up inside. Walk along the left side of the store to place your order at the counter. Walking past the excellent merchandise for sale. From shirts, to hats, mugs and koozies. Place your order and watch as they drop fresh into the fryer and come out golden brown on the other end. A worker then gathers them up and takes them to the decorating station. Where they are dressed to your order. They even have a raised ledge for the vertically challenged to see over the counter. You collect your order at the end and walk out a Happy customer ready to enjoy fresh, handmade donuts. They are SOOO delicious. I have been a life long KK fan. But, there is a new game in town that has me thinking about switching brands. Go try them. You will not be...

Such a cool place! Outside on the sidewalk, someone drew a cute donut and coffee cup welcoming you in. The store was very clean and cute. We got up to the counter and the workers were very polite and helpful! They were out of espresso drinks at the time so she gave a good recommendation for me and I took it. We got half dozen donuts and a cold brew which was delicious. No joke, these are made right in front of you which was so cool to see! Warm in the box, we made the trek home and my first try was blueberry lemonade . Whoa. What a delicious cake donut, fresh and soft. The icing was light enough because I don’t like a sugar overload but was PLENTY to taste the flavors. I’m so happy about this and we have found our new sweet treat place, even if it’s 20 minutes down the interstate, I don’t care! I would love to do my own franchise of this place too!!
