Well, let me tell you, my experience at Rapid Fired Pizza on Pelham Road in Greenville, SC, was like the first time I tried on a pair of New Balance sneakers – unexpectedly delightful and perfect for my dad bod!

First off, walking into this joint, I felt like I’d stumbled into a secret society of pizza lovers who really knew how to get down to business. The aroma of freshly baked pizza hit me like a high-five to the senses. It was enough to make even a kale enthusiast think twice. Seriously, if heaven had a scent, I’d bet my last pair of cargo shorts it smells like Rapid Style Pizza.

Now, I know what you’re thinking: “Is it really rapid?” Well, let me just say they’re faster than a kid sprinting towards the ice cream truck! I placed my order, and before I could even finish reading my classic dad joke book, bam! There was a hot, cheesy masterpiece right in front of me. It’s like they’ve got a pizza wizard working back there.

I went for the classic pepperoni, but my wife – bless her adventurous heart – decided to try the "Garden of Eatin’" veggie special. Let me tell you, both pizzas were more loaded than my tool shed on a Saturday morning. The crust was crispy enough to make you wanna sing “Sweet Home Alabama,” yet soft enough to keep you coming back for more. The sauce? Zesty, like my dance moves at a wedding, and the cheese? Melted to perfection like a dad nap on a Sunday afternoon.

Now, I’ve tried a lot of pizzas in my day – from New York to Chicago – and while I’m not saying this was like winning the Super Bowl of pizzas, it sure was a playoff contender. My daughter even said it was "lit," which I think means good. All I know is that if she keeps saying things like that, I might need to call a translator.

The staff was friendlier than a golden retriever at a BBQ, and the atmosphere was cozy enough to make you feel right at home. I’ve gotta say, for a pizza place that promises speed, they sure don’t skimp on quality or hospitality.

I am so glad that I tried this Eastside location of Rapid Fire Pizza as I was greeted by two of the friendliest people!

FOOD: My pesto and fresh mushroom pizza was made to perfection and it came out and was delivered to my table in minutes HOT AND FRESH I branched out and tried some sea salt and it really brought out the flavor in the mushrooms 🍄 😀 I also saw the NO DOUGH option but felt naughty so I went for my thin crust as it reminds me of pizza in Italy

FOOD EXPERIENCE #2 JUST when you THINK they couldn't "TOP" 😜 their last 🍕 it got even better when I tried a SORTA "skinny" meal (then cheated with a nibble for dessert 🍪) I LOVED the Half pizza I did the white pizza with shrooms and green peppers and the garden salad 🥗 it came with delicious balsamic dressing and croutons then that dessert pizza OH MY GOODNESS gracious!! SERVICE: From the friendly greeting, to the sparkling clean dining room GOLD STAR for sheer kindness and care

LOCATION: Excellent location at I-85 Note the entrance is BESIDE the restaurant BY FOX There is an ample "chicken lane" to exit if you wish to turn left, you just must employ patient and great care

ATMOSPHERE : Fun with tvs on sports channels but quiet enough where you can relax and have a nice private conversation

PRICE: Great value for the money and they generously give a military discount

Listen, I'm not one to go out of my way to review very often. And when I do, it's usually because I was substantially impressed by a business and its product. This is not oflne of those times...

The pizza itself was okay, which is the only reason I'm not giving 1 star. But when I opened the box, let me tell you, it was wetter than a swimming pool. The garlic sauce lay flipped upside down and FIRMLY pressed into my pizza. "How firmly?" I hear you asking. Well, when I tried to remove them, one left its lod behind on my pizza, further spilling sauce onto my food.

Their motto is "Amazingly good, amazingly fast" But the only thing I think they did amazingly was ruin otherwise somewhat edible food.

I can not express greatly enough how horribly disappointed I am in this place. Won't be returning. Will be attempting to convince myself this was a bad fever...
