Don’t order through the kiosk. I walked into dunking a little after 6:50 this morning and was not greeted by an employee. Judging by the kiosk they had by the register I assumed it was a self service type ordering situation now which I don’t mind. After a while some employee mentions to other employees that I’m here rather just just greet me themselves. Whatever. I place my order through the kiosk and get my iced coffee quickly. Granulated sugar at the bottom but that makes sense, sugar doesn’t dissolve easily in cold water so no points off there. I sit in the lobby and wait 30 minutes for my dozen donuts and hear nothing. I get up to ask a young lady for the status on my donuts and she asks me “why didn’t you let me know?” I’m taken aback because they knew I ordered a coffee so how wouldn’t they know I ordered donuts? I don’t know if this is an ignorance on my part or whether the Dunkin’ ordering system genuinely prevents them from seeing my full order but I’m very frustrated that I was asked that question by the employee. Very apologetically I received my donuts after my 30 min wait but can’t help but wonder if I am the only customer who had this issue. The donuts and coffee are fine but man, something needs to change with their kiosk if I have to place an order through the tablet and then basically place it again to get my donuts.
TLDR : don’t use the kiosk and ask an employee to...
Read moreThey have an awesome staff of teens I was impressed by their ability to provide customer service and never stopping they were always working or cleaning. My best experience has been with a young employee. Dianna who took the time to explain my coffee options and her discription of flavors and how each one had a savory or sweet taste and shared her favorites as well as mentioned the ice cream flavor of the month discriptive on textures and taste. She smiled and took the time to answer my questions about ice cream cakes and special orders for coffee and doughnuts for a large order. I was so impressed by her work ethic I assumed she was a shift leader or manager she smiled and said I enjoy my job and love our products. I am used to most teens or younger employees that lean on counters constantly on their phones or ignoring customers because they are chatting with their co worker about what they have planned for the weekend. Rolling their eyes if a customer dares disturb their conversation or they are in the parking lot smoking. My hat goes off to the friendly hard working Dianna and the manager who was fortunate enough to hire exceptional employees. Believe me I have been some one to hire and train over 25 years and it's difficult at best to hire any one let alone build a good team of employees. Wtg to store manager you have a great staff I hope you realize the potential...
Read moreAWFUL!! I normally don't write reviews but I still can't believe I experienced such horrible customer service. My friends and I have been taking our kids to this Dunkin Doughnuts every Tuesday for the past 4 weeks. It had started to become a nice little outing with our kids after we took them to the Del Webb library. In total there are 5 kids under the age of 4. For the most part they sit, eat their doughnuts and then we leave. We make sure our kids behave and clean up after themselves. Today there were Easter decorations on the tables. The Easter decorations had confetti in them. The kids pulled them off the table in 2 seconds. We were doing our best to clean up when the manager came out from behind the counter and yelled at us to clean everything up. We are normally the only paying customers in this business during this time. Why on earth would you treat your customers like that?? Between doughnuts, breakfast sandwiches, milk and coffee we had just spent around $50. Needles to say we will now be going to Krispy Kreme and I'm making sure to tell everyone to stay away from this business if you have kids. You are an ice cream and doughnut shop!!! If you can't handle the mess then close your doors or hire different people with customers service skills!!...
