Made reservations for saturday night, when we first showed up the server handed us the menus and without even walking away asked what we wanted to order. When told that we needed a few minutes to look at the menu she came back and asked 4 times within the span of 5 minutes what we wanted to order. We then ordered drinks and when checking our IDs the server said everything was good and our drinks would be out shortly. We then received our appetizers but still no drinks. A few minutes later the manager came over and was very confrontational and said that she needed to see our IDs again. After that our drinks came out. Looking around I noticed that a lot of people were not finishing their food. I ordered a sushi roll with raw salmon on it and was only able to eat one bite. The salmon was smelled disgusting and was very clearly not fresh. The avacado that was on the roll had been sitting out for so long that it had turned brown. The white fish that was on the rest of the roll was so old that it turned brown. I ordered a rice bowl with steak for my entrée cooked to medium. When it came out the center was still cold and shiny, there wasn’t even a sear on the outside. It was so incredibly undercooked, not even close to medium, it was raw, maybe bleu rare. When I brought this up to the server I didn’t even get a sorry she just said they’ll throw it back on. When it came back out it was Well Done but that was too be expected at this point. The server said that she “grabbed the wrong plate”. No apology just a statement of fact. Neither of us finished our food, it was honestly disgusting. I would 100% not recommend this restaurant. When we told the server that we were done and that the food was not good, she just said “sorry” and came back with the bill. Still had us pay for everything even though we didn’t even eat any of it. If this was a cheap restaurant that would be one thing but we got the privilege of paying $100 for 2 people for that experience. Read moreI visted tonight around 7:30 pm. It was packed, literally no open tables so the hostess informed me there would be a 30 min wait. After 12 minutes, I got a text saying my table was ready. We hopped up and headed to the hostess stand just to stand there another 10 minutes while they cleaned our table. We sat down finally. Our server was friendly but had slow service. Drinks were completely empty before she would return. My boyfriend and I attempted to order the filet and shrimp hibachi combo. They were out of filet mignon so I had to switch my order. My boyfriend ordered the regular steak. We also ordered the shumai (shrimp dumplings) appetizer. It was ok. 6/10. After we received our entrees we had to wait another 7 or so minutes on the rice that comes with it, allowing our entrees to get cold. The worst thing happened when I tasted my boyfriends daughters steak negimaki. The beef was tough and seemed to have a big tendon in it. However when I pulled it out of my mouth, it was actually plastic wrap. I was over it at that point and didn't care to eat anything else. I was upset because I could've choked. I pulled out two more small plastic pieces from my mouth after the big piece. It took forever for our server to return to us so we ended up asking the hostess to call the manager over. She was nice and extremely apologetic offered to remake the dish (we declined), remove the steak negimaki dish and take 30% off of our bill. I do not think I'll be returning to this location as I was turned off in more ways than one. With these prices, I just expected better overall. If you want hibachi, just go to a regular spot where they cook on the grill in front of you. Better portions and better taste.

Read moreI feel like this place quality has been on a slow decline over the last few months. We ordered when we first moved here and thought pretty quickly this would be our go to sushi joint. Four visits later (all take out) we’ve come to completely change our minds, with this latest visit being the final straw. We ordered two noodles + chicken, spicy tuna wontons, & two sushi rolls. We got to the restaurant to pick up and were told our food wasn’t ready & would be a few minutes, not a problem. Fifteen minutes later, a different person picking their food up came and got their food - all of a sudden our food appeared below the host stand. It had been there all along (the hosts hadn’t moved since we arrived so there was no chance they’d gotten it from the back and just forgot to give it to us). Then when we opened the sushi box upon getting home, it looked as though the sushi was totally throw about in the box which we did not to. The food by the time we got home was cold (we got noodles w/ chicken that was COLD), as I said sushi was strewn around in the box, the spicy tuna wontons were also cold & soggy from having sat in the avocado sauce for so long from when it was made to when we got the food. The flavor was absent across all the food we ordered.
We did not order close to closing time that would usually be expected with this quality of food. Taste and presentation has gone out the door here.
