Ordered online, pull in to drive thru, wait about 5 minutes, say hello?, no answer. All lights inside and out are on, no notes on door, door is locked and no one is inside. So closed, with no indication of being closed and took my money for dinner. I am so incredibly upset! I am just flabbergasted that any establishment could do this to people! I understand being understaffed or whatever, but be a responsible business owner and make sure the online ordering is shut off and the business appears closed! This is mind-blowing!! I am soo angry!
Update: called the next morning and spoke to the GM. Not only did he imply I was lying about the lights being on in the kitchen(which they 100% were), but he offered no apology, and told me I would have to find somewhere on the website to tell them I did not get my order for a refund. I have scoured the website and cannot locate any such option. Guess I will have to file it through my bank. What a completely unnecessary hassle! That could take DAYS to see that money again. OH! Why did it let me order online? Why did it say my order was ready? Had to pay again to then get food. Wouldn’t even honor the ITEMIZED receipt with date and time. Called customer service so I could get my money back. Nobody answers. Makes you leave a voicemail and they will call you back. Here we are 6 hours later and still have not gotten a call back. Called the number on google for this location. It’s a fax number. Called the next 3 closest Hardee’s just to see how to get my money back and none of the phones work except for 1 that had a busy tone. Hardee’s is a joke. Read moreI've grown up in the Simpsonville area of the last 20 years and consistently visited this restaurant. It has always been a poorly performing restaurant, not because of the staff (though that is a percentage of the problem) this restaurant is consistently understaffed and underperforming because of horrendous management. I've seen many of the employees transfer to other Hardee's or the McDonalds down the street. Wait times for your edible goods during lunch hour will consistently exceed 20 minutes. Many times less than four people are scheduled in the whole facility. One on the line, one in the drive thru, and one working cash register and dining facilities, and one performing arbitrary tasks with no sense of urgency or on break. At night the situation worsens as only two employees are on schedule for the whole facility. TWO PEOPLE. It doesn't take a genius to learn how to schedule the appropriate amount of employees.
