This is what I got for around 20 dollars would not recommend any day of the week the one piece of chicken I got was sour and tasted like it was frozen and not fresh what so ever I know I will not be going back here again for the service or the food
Update:
I was going to spare the extra detail but you are calling for it.
My husband ordered under the name Jamichael James on Ubereats. First off we ordered a Chicken Biriyani, and Gulab Jamun. Chicken Biriyani as I said was terrible, beyond disgusting. I said it tasted like frozen meat, not I was given a frozen piece. So don’t twist our words on us. The portion of your biriyani that you charge $19.99 on Ubereats is abysmal. All the other restaurants give more, look at persis, look at 2 gingers, look at 7 spices. There’s more that I am missing.
Also I’ve dined in at your restaurant multiple times. I will never step my foot in that establishment ever again. Your response is terrible, instead of owning up and saying there was a mistake, this is what we get for spending close to $25.
We thought we were a valued customer. But no one is I guess. You come out to the dining room to ask people, “how was the food”. Is just all a front and all you care about is the money and just serving mediocre food. I would not have said all this but you did not own up.
Plus the curry sauce, and I guess the liquify raita, which was literally lassi at that point was sour and way too watery.
Also you changed what you wrote in your response, so I’m going to add the screen shot of what you wrote before.
Update to your pitiful response: “Fake Reviewer” is a title for someone who leaves a review, who has never been to your restaurant. As I’ve said before I have been in your establishment before.
You said you checked the camera, I’m just wondering how you were able to see the “right amount of rice and meat”. When you gave me one leg piece. Very disappointing.
Anyways, you might not respond, but you will see this.
You’re welcome for giving you an update. You deserve it. I hope others see, and read how you treat people. I have already screenshotted your response before you, go...
Read moreA Magical Father-Son Evening at J&J's Curry N Biryani
What started as a simple dinner out turned into an unforgettable evening of cultural connection at J&J's Curry N Biryani. My five-year-old son and I stopped in for what we expected would be a quick meal, but we left with full hearts and even fuller bellies.
The samosas arrived piping hot, their crispy shells giving way to perfectly spiced filling. My young food critic declared them "crunchy on the outside, warm and cozy on the inside" – a review I couldn't have worded better myself. The vegetable hakka noodles struck that perfect balance between authentic Indo-Chinese flavors and kid-friendly appeal. We washed it all down with creamy mango lassi, which promptly earned the title of "best smoothie ever" from my son.
But what truly elevated our experience was the personal touch. The service was attentive and warm throughout, and we had the pleasure of meeting the chef himself. My son, a budding polyglot who's already showing interest in different languages, was absolutely thrilled to discover the chef spoke Tamil. The two of them shared a special moment conversing, and I watched my little boy's face light up with joy at finding this unexpected connection. "He's the coolest chef I ever met!" he declared, and I couldn't help but agree.
J&J's isn't just serving food – they're creating moments where cultures meet, where fathers and sons bond, and where the simple act of sharing a meal becomes a cherished memory. This wasn't just dinner; it was a daddy-son date we'll remember for years to come.
Pro tip: Don't miss the samosas, and if you're lucky enough to catch the chef, your kids might just discover their new...
Read moreOMG HORRIBLE TASTE OF PANEER TIKKA MASALA (SPICY LEVEL) And PANEER BUTTER MASALA (MEDIUM LEVEL) I have been ordering both items since past 1-2 years and used to be flavorful. But Management has changed since Past 2 Months. But OMG last time I ordered PANEER BUTTER MASALA MEDIUM SPICY WAS PURE BLAND TASTE. It felt like I was DRINKING SWEETENED HEAVY CREAM..! ABSOLUTE JOKE AND YUK..! NO FLAVORS..! Sure when you are pouring HEAVY CREAM LIKE THAT IS THE MAIN INGREDIENT..! So today before Ordering, I asked the guy if Paneer Tikka Masala won't taste like heavy cream and bland like paneer butter masala. He said no and suggested make it spicy. OMG I BROUGHT HOME AND TO MY SURPRISE JUST BY THE COLOR AND TEXTURE OF IT I COULD TELL IT WILL BE BLAND AND MADE WITH LOADS AND TONS OF HEAVY CREAM..! AGAIN YUK AND BLAND AND HORRIBLE TASTE..! TANDOORI NAAN was NOT PROPERLY COOKED EITHER. I had to cook it on a pan. I HAVE EATEN AT SO MANY OTHER RESTAURANTS AND THEY HAVE FLAVORS..! Not SWEETENED HEAVYCREAM BLAND CURRIES..! These people think to make Americanized to serve non-Indians but they need to dine at other Indian restaurants that has "Flavors" and yet mostly non-Indians still dine there. I am going to STOP ORDERING FROM THIS place. IF THE GUY WAS HONEST ENOUGH TO TELL ME OVER THE PHONE THAT OUR SPICIEST TIKKA MASALAS IS FILLED WITH SWEETENED HEAVY CREAM AND WILL TASTE BLAND, I would have APPRECIATED THAT..!! Wasted almost $40 as usual bill for Tandoori Roti and either curry together comes out to...
