Since I've never been anywhere in Jersey for bagels, I have been in PA, which also is the bomb for bagels. Walking in this place.. Actually let your nose guide you through the door. Awesome smells!!! We gravitated to this same location when a prior business was there (also with our noses) and was saddened upon their departure. Please please please go visit Jersey Bagel Brothers so they stay around ♾️. Once you're thru the doorway and your feet are stable, first timers will need to learn the (bagel) language. There will be signs as you head towards the cabinet of bagels (see picture). Read and enjoy. Sorry, no pics this time. Start thinking about your options. OMG 😳 I'm one of those when you give me more than three choices I can't decide and always say to the hubby, you order first. Salt, garlic, everything, and more. That's the bagel flavors. Then you gotta choose what to put on it, if you want. Butter, peanut butter, jelly, lox (I saw that afterwards), cream cheese.. and of course different flavors of cream cheese. That in itself, I wanted to have a container to just eat the veggie cream cheese with my garlic (yes 🧄) bagel. Filled with veggie chunks. Or, have a bagel sandwich. The hubby had an onion bagel 😲 with scallion cream cheese. We both were outside on the porch in the sun after we got home and you could smell onion and garlic. 🤣😋🥴. BTW they are not chincy with the size of the bagel or the filling. Place is small, maybe 4 tables inside but a couple more outside. They do have coffee and canned drinks. I had my coffee with me from home. Clean inside. Everything is prepared fresh.. well, the bagels in the bins are only as old as how long ago they were made. They make those too. About a 5 minute wait on our two bagels.. Actually we say down and I was putting my change away and they were ready. Oh, friendly folks there. ☺️ Now, a bonus. On the weekend only there is a sweet friend of theirs that sells her baked goods. Cookies, ricotta cakes, etc. And apparently, she makes a special pastry for Sunday. I'll let you go see for yourself. We got something from her too!!

Delicious. & WOW!! Authentic. Perfect NJ bagel shop atmosphere. They made me feel at home. Longer review if you feel like reading: The picture of my sesame bagel didn’t do it justice. I should’ve flipped the bagel over for the photo. Haha. The cashier Morgan is a hoot! If you get offended by a more northern attitude, don’t take it personally HAHA she is a sweetie. She said “how’s it going” and I turned around to see who she was talking to and she said bluntly to me “yeah I’m talkin’ to you!” Haha. She made an extra bagel for someone who didn’t even ask for it, out of the kindness of her heart, to get his order perfect. She said to a worker who was high strung “settle down” in a firm but endearing way. Haha! The workers cracked me up. It was so fun to just sit in this crammed but wholesome little bagel shop and take it all in. I’m originally from Maryland and my boyfriend who came with me is from New Jersey. He got the #1: “traditional jersey” sandwich and he said it was just what he needed. I got a sesame bagel with cream cheese and had never tasted a bagel like that before. And I’ve even lived in Manhattan New York before, in Hells Kitchen! The bagel here was so spongey airy and tasty unlike I’ve had previously. I’m impressed. This place has got character and charm in an almost grungy, homey, northern, comfortable way haha. The people in front of us in line were visiting from New Jersey and New York and said they found them a year ago and remembered them even a year later.. visiting for a soccer tournament. Ok that was long winded but this was fun and made me think of home in Maryland / DMV area. I like all the New Jersey movie posters on the wall and the punk early 2000s music playing on the speaker haha. + it’s not a bagel place if they don’t sell apple juice, Yoo-hoo, Nesquik chocolate milk, and beverages in a fridge near the register. Alright I think that is all. Thanks for reading.

Once lived within 15 min. of Manhattan and about 30 minutes from Brooklyn and now I call S.C. home. Tiny place, enough room to fit an elbow or two, and just enough seating to enjoy multiple conversations at a time.... But... Now hear me out; BUT!! F#$&ING delicious breakfast sandwiches just as I remember in North Jersey/NY! (No nicer way to say it and really mean it honestly). Plus, they bake their own bagels in the traditional Jersey style and flavors. The decor is all "Yankee," related celebrities with NJ plates spanning the walls. Gotta have James Gandolfini! Had an onion bagel with ->TAYLOR HAM<-, Egg and cheese (don't insult the Yankees and call it pork roll lol!). My gorgeous Beaty got a garlic bagel with egg and cheese. Both of us were deliciously satisfied and the after-burps remind you of all the amazing flavors you just held in your hands and inhaled (yeah, that good). If you're looking for great breakfast sandwiches in the original NJ/NY style and flavor, this is the place to go without spending 14 hours in a car or 2-3 in an airplane. Love it and will be back; highly recommend it. Satisfied!
