The Poor Gamer store Fits the Poor Customer service to there Client. Take a picture of your controllers before you drop it off because you will find new scratches and they dont care about your stuff. You can see in the photos i posted. Also to repair the controller it took almost a month long. The lady at the front desk said that it will only take a week. Dont let them fool you. I DOO NOTTTTTT RECOMMEND THIS PLACEEEEE TO REPAIR ANY GAMING ACCESSORIES OR CONSOLES. I REGRET IT!!! UPDATE The analog stick got stick drift again that was one of the repairs that they made and the RB button that they supposedly repaired stop working on the first month.

I’ve gone to the poor gamer in the past with a buddy and had an amazing time, when I got into their new store today I was happy to see their growth. I had brought in an old GBA that I had refurbished but the video ribbon was damaged. They replaced it in under 20 minutes and were very kind about getting it done in the moment for me since I had a tonsillectomy 30 minutes before and wanted to spend time recovering with my device. Attached is a photo of it working because of their kindness and expertise. These are 10/10 people and deserve all of the business in the world.

Just checked out The Poor Gamer and it's exactly what I want to see when walking into a "non GameStop" video game shop. N64, Sega Genesis, classic Xbox (even had Halo 2 on the demo console!) and a nice selection of current gen games at a great price. Matt was super helpful and patient as we cruised each section. We'll definitely be back!

I understand as a reseller for years and doing business with game stores of how things go. Take not I have shopped and sold to this store before even prior to this incident I sold them like 100 games and accessories for a good price. I brought in more games and systems, I spoke to them I resell etc well I received an offer I didn’t want to take on the systems so I told them I would keep the systems and just sell the other stuff. Well since I gave them such a good deal before they didn’t like I didn’t want to give my systems for that cheap. They said they didn’t want the other stuff if not with systems. I ended selling the 2 systems soon after leaving for the price they have gave me for everything which is as 4 systems. Week or so goes by since I’m always getting stuff I brought some of the old stuff and some new stuff to resale. Was given a price from the guy but once the female noticed it was my stuff she wanted to give 1/3 less just because was me. That’s very unprofessional. I understand it’s a business which I run one too and I always sell to resellers so there’s always room for profit but that’s rude and disrespectful. All because I don’t want to give things away for almost nothing. I know the comps and know what 30% is. Just becaise was my stuff wanted to offer even less because I didn’t want to sell them systems they offered too low for. If someone tries to sell you something and don’t agree on the price doesn’t mean you then now offer less for all their things or be petty about the situation. Never had a business do this, forcing someone to sell all their items at a bulk price or nothing that’s extortion. Should be itemized list which have received at many other game Poor Gamer...

A while ago, my nephews had accidentally dropped my 3DS down the stairs. This 3DS had Pokemon home, and all of my childhood Pokemon were on it. I gave it to the poor gamer and asked if they could fix it up. Upon looking at it, they unfortunately couldn't without everything costing $400+

However, I ended up getting another 3DS and asked if they could do a data transfer. They quoted me $20. The time the repair took was a bit longer than originally expected. Best believe I was stressing-- an inside joke within my friends and I was that my Pokemon were in "life saving surgery" haha

I eventually got my 3DS back and, after redownloading Pokemon Bank, all my mons were safe! They were immediately sent to Home.

I'm really glad they helped me out. I couldn't find any advice online. I'll be returning eventually to give the repair guy a good tip for...

Very limited selection, claims to have the best prices in the area but this couldn’t be further from truth. The thing that did it for me though was they had a kid working the counter when the dad was in the back playing games, dad seemed quite rude as well. I’d rather go buy my shovelware elsewhere since that’s all they sell here. Besides, it’d probably cheaper at other nearby stores.

Edit: I appreciate the professional response, though I’m unaware of what you (the owner) mean by ā€œfriend’s reviewā€ or pokemon games. I visited alone and inquired about PlayStation games if that rings a bell (though I don’t know if the person I spoke to is the owner). I believe you have me mixed with the...
