Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in South Carolina

I called to order a carryout order and spoke with Vera. I asked and was told that they no longer have the med 1 topping for $7.99. I placed my order. I checked the website which said they had med 1 toppings for $7.99. I called back and spoke with Vera again and told her this. She said she would get the mgr so he could "explain". He comes to the phone and I told him what happened. He states that they no longer have the promotion and that the corporate office has not removed it from the website. He went on to say that they claim they can't and they have complained to them multiple times. He can not honor the promotion. He stated that his GM would not allow him to give the discount manually. I asked if I could get that price if I ordered online to which he said "no. I have had people call and say they tried to order online and it wouldn't give them that price". I hung up and went online to see if it would let me order it at that price. IT DID! When I got to the store I showed the mgr the price on my phone. He stated "you have to finish and pay. That's when it gives you the error" I did that and it still gave it to me at that price. The mgr said yet again "I can't manually give you the discount in the store". He literally made me stand there and process the order online instead of just giving them to me...

This location uses to be pretty consistent in quality, but over the last year or so, it's gotten to the point where I won't be ordering from them again.

Orders are sloppy, with little attention to quality. It’s more common for my order to be incorrect than correct. According to their automated updates, my latest order sat ready for over 40 minutes before it was picked up for delivery. It was another 30 minutes before it arrived at my house. (I live 7 minutes away.) By the time it arrived, the pizzas were cold, and my sub was soggy and falling apart — and the order wasn't correct. It's too expensive to be this consistently bad. It concerns me that the food safety might not be a priority either.

TOO BUSY TO CALL OUT A NAME AND INCONSPICUOUS SPECIALS BOARD.

I was told the pizza would be ready in about 10 minutes. After 20, I asked if it was ready. It was the pizza box I had noticed that had been sitting under the warmer. They didn't call my name or the other guy waiting for a pizza. Their excuse "we're busy"

BTW, the specials are on the side wall away from the menu boards. Personally, I would have ordered the $6.99 one topping medium from there rather than the menu.

Profit over Service feel.

Update to owner response: ARE YOU SERIOUS? A customer in your store has a bad experience and you give the customer HOME WORK? With hundreds of pizza places in the area the problem is fixed, no home...
