McDonald's — Restaurant in South Carolina

This McDonalds was...disorganized, less than friendly, and not well maintained. There were six of us who went in and we were on a road trip. When we walked in, the first thing we noticed was that there were no self service kiosks. Not that it mattered but it was odd. So we got in line. There were two registers open, both had people at them and we would be next. Everyone put in their order, two of us asked for buffalo sauce but were told there wasn't any which was not true since we could see the bin with buffalo sauce in it on the back order prepping area. But I decided I could just ask for it when we got our food. Also, as I stood looking at the menu I did not see the chicken tenders. So when it was my time to order I asked if they had the 4 piece chicken tender and was told yes. We were given our drink cups, one missing. Back to ask for the missing one. There were two sweet tea containers, both empty. Back to ask for sweet tea. While I was standing at the counter with the two empty cups several employees looked at me, including the two cashiers who were not taking orders. Finally I was able to get one of them to fill the cups. Our food came and the sauces were there and I asked the person if there was any buffalo sauce (five of us had ordered some sort of dipping chicken). She said yes and stood there. I was confused and for a few seconds we just looked at each other. Finally, she asked me which sauce I would be returning. Maybe it's just where I live but I am not used to such control over the sauces. So I was not understanding what she meant. Then she spoke to me as if I were special. In order to get my preferred sauce I would have to give her two in exchange. I did, it was no problem... just strange. (We sat down at a table that had not been cleaned in some time. There was dried sauce on it and the seats. The place was not busy when we arrived. It was just after 11am.) We hand out the food and the 4 piece tender I had asked about was put in as a 4 piece nugget. I checked the receipt and sure enough that's what he put in. By then the line was much longer and I did not want to wait in line. I ate the nuggets and was looking forward to the fries... that is the real reason I go to McDonald's. Unfortunately, they were stale. Frustrating to say the least. I should have had a clue when someone from the drive thru came in and asked for new fries because theirs were cold. I did not see the restroom myself because I asked someone who went if it was clean and there was a long pause followed by a shrug and...

Very poor service ! Our order was very simple it was a small mocha cappuccino, a doub0le cheeseburger, a 6 piece chicken nugget and a large tea. First off we asked for them to hang on one second well we made sure we all had our order together and in the middle are you ready yet, so we start placing our order . Well when we were asked what kind of sauce we would would like for our nuggets we said honey and sweet and sweet and sour. She said you know its thirty something cent extra right. We said wow but ok we will pay it. Finished order, pulled up and young girl looked really stressed. I tried to cheer her up and to just say in a different manner that didn't sound so condescending. So all was well , she smiled and was just upset cause she had a bad headache and someone fell asleep on the job and she was pulling extra work. We told her we hoped she had a better night. Get to second window and it was complete chaos. They didn't know orders, speaking rudely, very nasty attitudes. The lady said that she could not hear what I was saying my order was to try to figure out which bag was mine tried several times and she still could not get it so I got out of my vehicle to walk around to tell them what I ordered was she walked away as she was calling me a b** and the next lady came to the window and said what wrong , not what's wrong or how can I help you, so we had to tell her and she instantly picked up the bags correctly handed the food. There were several improper use of words and language. I was going to walk in and tell them since they could not hear me and my truck or the other lady with me but they said that the dining room was closed. This all happened around 11:15 or 11:30 p.m. There were several people inside by the way .h always thought it was a 24 hr restaurant and it is by your website. UPDATE: Ok, I waited until the 4th night IN A ROW Before writing this edited review, so I'm not a happy camper but I also believe in redemption, but after 4 NIGHTS IN A ROW of trying to get a frappe at a restaurant who does not close for another 4 HOURS only to be told yet AGAIN their frappe machine was being"cleaned" for closing, no redemption is possible!! Now folks, this is BEYOND LAZY AND SLACK!! I have worked in a restaurant before, so yeah, I know about how all that works, but NEVER were we able to pick and choose which equipment we did or didn't use at whichever time we chose to do so! If a customer came in at 5 minutes before close, they got the same service as the would have during lunch! Now, if you are going to shut down a machine 4 hours before time to close on a MENU ITEM, you need to put some kind of sign up at the speaker announcing that you can't get certain items after a certain time! Also, when did it become acceptable for an employee dealing with the PUBLIC TO ARGUE AND SMART OFF AND CUSS AT A CUSTOMER??? WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO MCDONALD'S?? I never thought I would EVER say this, but thank you McDonald's on Lucas Street, but I am over my frappe addiction, and it's ALL THANKS TO THE MIXED DUDE WITH THE MUSTACHE WORKING THE WINDOW TONIGHT!! Get it together or get a new job!! Oh by the way, this review has absolutely NO REFLECTION ON THE MORNING/ EARLY AFTERNOON SHIFT, Who is AMAZING!! Just stay away from there after that shift leaves!! Okay, after tonight July 12th 2021, I'm officially DONE with McDonald's on Lucas Street!!! They don't close until 1 am and they are CLEANING the frappe machine at 8 pm!!! WHERE'S THE MANAGER?? DO THEY EVEN CARE THAT YOUR RESTAURANT IS TURNING INTO A JOKE??? EITHER SERVE YOUR CUSTOMERS OR SHUT DOWN BC MCDONALD'S LIKE THIS IS WHAT GIVES THEM ALL A BAD NAME!!! TIGHTEN UP OR FIND ANOTHER JOB THAT ISN'T TOO MUCH FOR...
