Just visited about 30 minutes ago. Ordered thru the drive thru, everything was ordered correctly and repeated. We wait (of course, it's Mc.D) pull up to the payment window and go to swipe my card (forgot it was locked) so it declined. I unlock it, scan again and I get informed by the employee that if it failed the first time, it will not accept the card a second time.. weird. Anyway, next window, we get our food repeated back to us, they ask to view the receipt, give them the receipt and they put the bag together. I go thru it and I'm missing a kids meal and a vanilla milkshake. So I sit there waiting on some employee to pay attention to Me to inform them I'm missing food. They seem to be busy. The window is open and I hear a woman approaching say basically, why are they still sitting there? & The guy in the window we had been dealing with replies (which I hear muchhh clearer) "I don't know and I'm not asking! they need to pull off". So she politely asked us what we needed, and I could only remember the milkshake after what the guy who took my money said. I tell her a milkshake and she turns and hands it to me. It was already ready and has been sitting there. Watery milkshake, yum 😒 Arrive home 5 mins later and realize the baby's food is missing, after the food was repeated a minimum of 3 times, receipt was shown to numerous employees and still got a response of, "idk, they need to go." No I needed to stay to get my child's meal, but you forgot about that like my milkshake right? I go back to McDonald's & they give me the same food that was made 30 minutes ago. Asking them to even heat it up was such an inconvenience. The manager (beautiful, curly hair, pregnant) was great though at solving my issue as fast as possible, even though I do think all of our food should've been remade for having to turn back around after walking in MY door and setting up MY table to eat and not having food for everyone.
Hated this...
Read moreI manage a high volume restaurant in the Vista and am in no way a stranger to proper customer service. I have over ten years of experience in hospitality in the food beverage department and must say this place is anything but professional. I live in northeast and pass this venue on my way home. Due to the demanding manager hours I put into work, I am left with limited options for late night food. This is my last straw for this place. Icecream machine is always broken or their credit card machine is down or something isn't working or they are closed for "cleaning". After working an intense, and grueling 12 hours this evening without break, I was hoping to grab a late, way past due dinner. Upon pulling up to the drive-through speaker I was informed their credit card machines were down and I had to pay cash and was instructed to drive to the second window to place my order. It took me 30 minutes to get to the window with only two cars in front of me because there was no one working with any urgency to provide any form of service. Once I was finally inquired to place an order, the lady seemed annoyed and was anything but friendly. This place needs SOME form of management, accountability, staff that will comply to do their job and consistency on atleast Something. As of right now there's nothing I can say good about this business or the people running it. I hope this review is not taken lightly and is utilized as a tool to make the positive and very necessay changes it requires to better serve future customers. Thank you to the staff for the impoliteness and for extending an immensely long day...
