McDonald's — Restaurant in South Carolina

Update: Order doordash McDonald's didn't even think about it, but it came from this location. I hate this location, so now I know not to order again lol BUT, I had ordered collection meal was notified they had no more coke soda, so I changed it, and then on that same call wasn't notified the collectors that I was charged for ran out of cups, because I didn't receive mine. Mind you my bag was sealed when it arrived. Food also was garbage. My fries were cold, tasted undercooked, and my big mac was also a little cold. Tossed my food, and filed a complaint. This place is just ridiculous.

Update: Gave this place another chance this morning, got here at 6:02 am est, lady was so rude! Asked can I take your order, and husband said waiting for the screen to come on im sorry, and she said pull around I cant hear, rudely, and then he said im sorry I'm waiting for the screen, and she said very rude and "I'm saying we opened at 6 screens aren't on okay!" Like when I say rude, im saying RUDE! We were taken back, because it was unnecessary. We weren't rude, mean, like what is wrong with this girl?!?Then we pulled around to order since she said she couldn't hear, and noone came to the window, never came, im sure you saw us there, I worked at McDonald's before, so its frustrating because they just let us sit there, until we decided we'll go somewhere else. Customer service, service is non existence here. Definitely will never give it another chance. Not worth the annoyance of incompetent rude workers.

This location needs the highest level of authority to fix this place! Workers aren't efficient whatsoever at their job! I worked for McDonald's before and with the right management and training, its easy. But for some reason this place can never, and I mean NEVER get my order right. I ask them to repeat it, I see it on the screen, and I pay for it, but when checking before leaving there is always an issue, ALWAYS! The food I do recieve is either burnt fries, overly salted fries, short on fries, tossed up cheeseburger, sometimes not thoroughly cooked nuggets, its like it cannot be like this level of bad. I travel far out to get McDonald's to avoid this location. And to include this location in my experience, never have ice cream or coffee, correction they only always have hot regular coffee. No exaggeration, this location is BY FAR the worst in all of Columbia hands down. A few, among many, issues with this location. Dining room doors are locked during normal business hours about 75% - 80% of the time that I visit this location (I’d say roughly 8 out of 10 times), they shut down early about 90% of the time for the day even though business hours say they’re still open (they’re in there, they just turn off lights at drive thru and don’t answer), staff are immediately rude and bothered just by your presence upon arrival, they literally say they are out of something or a machine is down (mainly the latte machine) every single time I’m here, they try to deter you from ordering at all by asking “are you paying with card or cash?” - when I reply I can pay you with either then she says, “we can only take card.” Ok, cool, why not just lead with that then? Drive thru service is EXTREMELY slow no matter what day or time you come, I’ve spoke to the GM of this store, only on one occasion as it was one night that I came by and was just fed up with the same issues every single time. She had a major attitude from the very beginning, clearly had a chip on her shoulder, and although she obliged what I had originally requested, that they said they couldn’t do, it took her 45 minutes to do it because she didn’t want to be bothered with it. It was a simple latte. So again, it proves my point, that for example the latte machine is not down they just do not want to fool with it for whatever reason. To sum it up, they want to do the bare minimum and by minimum I mean basically they don’t want to do anything at all, ever! Except ride the clock and collect their paycheck for a job they’re not...

consumer beware! I have never felt so compelled to write a negative review as I do now. This McDonald's is by far the worst McDonald's i have ever been to. As an ex employee of McDonald's I have a reasonable idea as to what to expect from a trip to McDonald's. This location has a few good employees. There is an nice Hispanic woman who always cares about getting the orders right and fast. One of the managers, a nice young African American woman is always polite and handles herself and her job well. I'm sure there are other good employees there but unseen to me at this point. My issue comes with a lot of the counter staff. One in particular is a young African American male with short braids / dreads. He always tells me that they for some reason can not fulfill my order. We did not receive any iced coffee on our truck (this is a lie, iced coffee is the same coffee brewed double strength). We do not have the fitting to make that flavor frappe (another lie, the different flavors are selected by a button press and require no additional hardware whatsoever). To avoid being redundant I will leave it at those examples, but trust that i have many more. save your self the trouble.
