This is a family owned parlor that's always an amazing visit. The spread of delicious edible choices will undoubtedly have options for everyone in your group, yes, even the incredibly impossible picky travelers. Regarding the main course, well, there's the common and recognizable options for the traditionalists out there. Yet, those seeking a change from their frozen familiar's there are also unique combinations to play with. That's to say, there's truly a flavor to match the calling of each individual's taste buds. The goodness continuous on too, The customer service you'll experience there will likely be second to none. Now, that's considering a more modern laid-back qsr style concept. I perceived the service as a genuine effort and instilled priority of theirs that all who come, should enjoy a great experience. With Great vibes and an eye-catching decor, consuming almost every inch, featuring memorabilia most everyone can relate, which likewise connects with chuckles or a story adds to the experience. Even after all of that there are still more choices to make, almost like you are creating your own personalized visit. Meaning you have options, in addition to of the endless flavors they offer, and where you're going to enjoy your visit, whether it be and one of their decorative rooms or outside seating. Read moreIf you are looking for the best ice cream shop in town, look no further. Meyer's Ice Cream Parlor is the best place to grab a cone, scoop or whatever your are craving. Given the choice, I would return to this establishment before trying another.
There is a ridiculous amount of choice here and I'm not just talking about flavors. Ice cream served any way with nearly every topping is what this place is all about. The ice cream itself is very delicious as well with at least 30 (40 maybe?) flavors to choose from. Any vessel in which you would want to consume your ice cream is also here. Cones, sundaes, etc. There is also small bar dedicated to Italian ice. Again, plenty of selection.
The atmospheric themes are kinda mixed. Part of the parlor is vibrant with "hot pink" style colors while others are more classical or sports themed. There are a few arcade machines and a small but decent size room in the back for birthday parties and social gatherings. My party went during peak hours (around 8-9 o' clock at night) and the line was literally out the door and around the corner. They know how to knock 'em down though because we were served in about 20 minutes so don't let a long line deter you. It's worth the wait.
Overall, I rate 5 stars as a perfect or near perfect experience. Meyer's Ice Cream Parlor definitely delivers and is one of the best ice cream shops I have...
Read moreI came upon this ice cream parlor because after shopping at nearby Ollie's I was really actually thirsty. So sitting in my car I was trying to see what else was around there where I could get a bottle of water and came across an ice cream parlor on Google maps. After some circling around the parking lot of Ali's not quite being able to figure out the map situation I got back on a main back road and almost went right past it. I wish I had taken pictures this was the huge most decorated ice cream parlor I have ever seen the ice cream was absolutely delicious. I got the salted caramel vanilla toffee a small size and a cup it was delicious. Price just right. New review... June 2024 a friend of mine was telling me about this place and it sounded familiar when we pulled in I was like oh my god I've been here before. I also reviewed this place before. I am now dairy free so I opted for the cherry vanilla which I was unaware of that they were making with coconut milk. I was looking forward for the actual taste of cherries and vanilla ice cream. However I did taste the coconut milk that it was made with. Regardless it was just as delicious and I ate it. But I will definitely try a different dairy-free ice...
