Ocean Annie's Beach Bar — Restaurant in South Carolina

Do not trust the pictures!!!! The first room we entered smelt like an ashtray. Upon further inspection, the fridge was missing the handle. The couch looked like someone threw up on it. The floor looked like they had never been swept or mopped. The beds were made up, but the comforter was dirty. The mirrors and counter tops looked like something was smeared all across them. We called the front desk and was happily switched to a new room. The next room was a little better but definitely wasn't what we paid for. The bathroom floor looked like it hadn't been mopped in a while. The fridge had stains all over the front. The balcony curtains had what appeared to be blood stains on them. The bed comforter had pieces of hair and on the bed skirt it appeared to be a piece of hair/skin; maybe part of a weave. The baseboards had months of sand laying on them. The living room surfaces were not cleaned as there were leftover hair laying on it. The microwave still had the fingerprints from the last guests. There was black mold on the bathroom floor, the ceilings in the bedroom by the vent and in the living room by the vent. We did call back to the front desk and we asked if they had anything better and we were willing pay any pric difference. It was said without saying that, that was the best. So they said they could get housekeeping up there. Housekeeping was nice and accommodated our request. But honestly it was awkward pointing out what could be cleaned and of course some of the things weren't even discovered until that evening or the next day. I would not recommend staying from the hotel. If you know a resident that owns one of the condos at the 35+ year building by cleaning and maintaining the unit, then I would recommend. But not from the hotel or...

It was dirty ....the women that check u in to ur room was very rude then check in time was 4 pm we didn't get in r room until 4 30 pm when everyone else seemed to check in early no towels or wash rags the room wasn't clean ....the floor wasn't sweep the bathroom smelled like urine the tub had dirt in it strains the base board has enough dirt never cleaned there's a hole in the roof of r bedroom the balcony never sweep we had to go and buy broom and disinfect spray to clean r on room never did get a call from management and ask what was wrong bc we called as soon as we got here. No I would not recommend anyone this Sands ocean club bc other people were also complaining about others problems as well as the things that we went through ...dirty sheets dirty floors dirty toilets and tub being strained as well as not so friendly host. The only good thing about the establishment was the restaurant called windows...

The band was amazing. Atmosphere was beautiful. But be careful when buying drinks!.... Sneaky servers & bartenders. Ordered a margarita & Bloody Mary with a floater... they over charged me. When I paid for my drinks they only gave me the receipt from the credit card transaction. Not the actual bill. This happened to me 3 different times with 3 different employees. When I asked to see the bill I was charged for two Bloody Mary’s! Not one and a floater. My margarita floater was more money then my actual margarita. 3rd time ordering drinks from someone else. I was charged for top shelf when I saw TORO TEQUILA being poured in my drink. Unbelievable how rude & inconsiderate this bar to this to their guest. How do you expect for people to come back? That’s just not right. Had a beautiful time the south side band was awesome but as for your staff overcharging us.... this is our 1st and last time coming to...
