The wait was egregious, but that's no big deal. However, the girl at the front was trying to rip us off. The price was almost 17 dollars for 2 concretes. The peanut butter was smeared towards the top without it being mixed together. This lady must've been new, but we were surcharged. We ordered a kid's size but paid the same price for a regular. The ice cream made me nauseaus because of the excess of peanut butter, and my friend felt sickened by the entire experience. To make this matter even worse, we were forced to leave a tip for bad service before we got to receive or see the ice cream. I've been here a few times before, and this was enough to make me not want to come back. They may have made an intentional mistake, but we also didn't receive a receipt. It was bad before, but this error was on a completely different level. There was nothing "gourmet" about this, the insane charge, styrofoam cups, or the bending plastic spoons. Edit: My friend mentioned that she called them after the incident, and they said, "You get what you pay for." Thanks, but no thanks, jerks. Have a good day, though. And goodbye. Edit: Why so defensive? Your place is getting good reviews, and we will not affect your business. Although, the snotty response below explains the snooty, snarky, and sarcastic attitude as well. Give it a rest, and spend your time engaging and making better decisions with your coworkers and ice cream rather than arguing online with customers who had a bad experience. Lastly, we ordered 2 toppings, but all of the peanut butter was mixed on the top. (The entire ice cream was nearly all peanut butter, but you have the graciousness to allow us to come back so that you can correct it?) Your argument is not relevant to the point. There was far too much peanut butter. Asking us to come back to "fix it" is not going to fix the problem in any substantial way, especially since we we were not wanting to wait and long gone at that point. It's ice cream, so we're over it at this point. The employees age has nothing to do with it unless they're not capable of doing the right thing the first time. Have fun with the damage control, and have a lovely evening. I'm allowed to leave a review, so be sure to not take it...
Read moreManager has No Customer Service Skills and doesn't know how to properly accept responsibility when messing up a customer's order. If I could give zero stars I would. My Co-Workers and I decided to order from here while working the night shift. First of all they don't have an online menu to view, so I called before my Charge Nurse decided to place the order to find out my options. I decided to go with the Low fat Vanilla Yogurt version of their Turtle which comes with Pecans and another type of nut. Needless to say, when I received my order, I had barely any caramel or chocolate syrup and not 1 Nut or Pecan. Another co-worker had a turtle with extra nuts and she had plenty of caramel and chocolate syrup and plenty of nuts. I was HIGHLY Disappointed in the ice cream and I called as soon as I saw my order was wrong but they were closed so I couldn't take it back. I called today after they opened and explained to the manager what happened, and he pretty much tells me he is the one who made the order and that I asked for no nuts. I quickly corrected him and advised him that I only asked for no cherry which is what he correctly wrote on the cup but however still made the order wrong. He never apologized for ruining my 1st AND ONLY experience there because I will never give them a penny of my money again. Not only that, but instead of offering to give me another one at no cost, he tells me he will give me a discount, but can't give me one for free. I kindly thanked him for his time and advised him I would never waste another penny there again if my business isn't appreciated. I wouldn't recommend anyone eating here if you expect to eat somewhere where the employees and manager will take ownership when they make a mistake and do anything in their power to correct their mistake. I guess my almost $6 ice cream was too expensive for them to replace for free, even though it was their mistake. It's ok though because they lost a future potential loyal customer. I will stick to Sweet Frog, Dairy Queen, Baskin Robbins, and other known chains who appreciate...
Read moreSo I understand they don't do the specialty ice creams on the left with anything other than a sundae or something. Which is sorta werid but whatever. So I decide to order a double scoop vanilla in a waffle cone with cookie dough on top. I end up getting a cup with no waffle cone. I say "hey, I ordered a waffle cone." The girl says "Let me check if she charged you for it." She comes back " Oh she didn't charge you for that, it will be a dollar for the waffle cone." I say "Ok, heres my card." She says "Oh sorry, we can't charge the card under a certain amount, do you have cash." I say "No." Some awesome guy had to bail me out with a dollar bill and even said it was rediculous himself. So the girl handed me the cup real fast then goes away and comes back and hands me the waffle cone SEPERATE. I didn't even argue but I just felt embarassed. Had to go in my car and try to shove the ice cream in the cone without shoveling it on my lap.
Lol anyone visiting this page please read this and then deduce that this owner knows nothing about customer service. I implore.
Its not your traditional 25 year old ice cream genius, its the fact your employee decided fixing the problems was just handing me a waffle cone separated from the ice cream after they made the mistake of not listening when I specifically asked for a waffle cone with your...
