I would literally drive further, to forest drive, not to go to this location..or possibly another place entirely. My best friend & I went here for lunch. My meal was $24 for a You Pick Two:turkey avocado blt & broccoli cheddar soup, smoothie,& side mac & cheese + avocado. There was no option even offered for chips or bread & I asked at the drive thru window thankfully (this is the only time any Panera worker has not asked me which I would like-chips, apple,or bread-). I believe the employee also just assumed that I wanted a large side mac and cheese (of course he didn't provide a receipt)... The mac & cheese that I ordered with avocado was essentially half full, had overripe, brown,& not fully peeled avocado on top. Absolutely unacceptable. My friend ordered a You Pick Two: Greek salad with a half roasted turkey avocado blt, and she specified that she wanted the bread with her meal (there was no line and we had to pull forward to wait for a second bag when we were only given the salad and smoothies); when they gave us the second bag, it had two bags of chips. The salad (I initially thought the dressing was tossed in from how it looked so my friend took my word for it & didn't worry about it) had no dressing and there wasn't even a fork in either bag.. the soup and mac come prepared to my knowledge, so they were fine (mac sauce to noodle ratio was less than optimal, but that sometimes happens) the portions of the sandwiches were a joke,as were the smoothies (looked like a kids cup or the free water cups) & the salad without dressing. I am entirely dissatisfied with the experience at this location, my friend has finished her meal and hardly even feels as though she really ate anything. It goes without saying that we will not be going to this...
Read moreI would rate this visit a ZERO!!!! The store was dirty, and had a stench in the air. The customer service was nonexistent.
The young man who took our order was not rude, but he didn’t present a professional welcoming demeanor. He didn’t have on a Panera bread uniform, was in street clothes with a red hoodie with his pants sagging. There was no mention of any seasonal promotions or professional menu suggestions. He just stood there like a lump on a log. In between orders he stood there on his cell phone, instead of tidying up the already unacceptable and unpleasant lobby where us customers were waiting.
The store smelled like there was a busted sewage pipe. The floors looked like it hadn’t been mopped in a couple of days and It honestly looked like there was no manager on duty. In addition, we were told that they weren’t making any more hot sandwiches, at 7:00pm. I believe this was because they cleaned the machines in preparation for closing, a hour before they closed (they closed at 8:00pm). I don’t believe the cooking machines were broken, I believe they were being lazy because they didn’t want to work past closing to clean the machines. This action prevented us from patronizing the entire menu, and we were stuck ordering something other than what we wanted.
I recommend retraining all staff on proper customer service etiquette. I also recommend retraining everyone on maintaining cleanliness (especially during times where customer traffic’s is slow). This is called customer service initiative. I also recommend retraining the manager on how to truly manage and uphold the Panera Bread standards and culture. Panera Bread is a highly respected restaurant chain and I...
Read moreI was not thrilled with this place tonight. I ordered the Turkey BLT, Green Goddess Cobb Salad, a Prickly Pear Tea, and the app gave me a $0.99 Bear Claw for joining.
I placed an order for a 6:10PM curbside pickup. I arrived about 6, and the app notified me that my order was ready at 6:08. I watched the employees inside wander around like they were lost until 6:21. I called the store, got someone, and asked if my curbside order was ready. The guy said it was, I said okay thanks. Then I watch the same employee who was wandering around lost walk over to the in-store pickup shelf, and walk one bag out to my car. I asked, “Is this everything?” and he said yes. I advised that I ordered a drink also. He said, “Yes ma’am I will have to go get that for you.” Okay, so it’s not everything?? So I go through my bag and find there are no utensils as ordered, so when he came back from getting the drink, he had to go back again and get utensils.
If I order curbside, I feel like it’s not a stretch for it to be brought to me…curbside. I think it’s pathetic to sit curbside orders on the pickup shelf when the man looked out the window and could see my car there, and then proceed to seemingly wait until I got frustrated enough to come in and get it. I shouldn’t have to call the store and ask them to bring it to me. And then to tell me that one bag was my entire order when it clearly was not. This was not my favorite visit to one of my favorite...
