Concern Regarding Poor Customer Service and Overcharge – Killian Crossing Location
Dear Chick-fil-A Management,
I am writing to express my concern regarding a disappointing experience I had at your Killian Crossing location in Columbia, SC, on June 7, 2025, at approximately 6:42 PM.Upon entering the store, I was greeted by a team member who appeared to be unfriendly and carried an unwelcoming attitude. I placed my order and, to ensure accuracy, politely asked her to repeat it back to me. She did so, but with noticeable irritation. As an older customer, I strive to be respectful and calm in all interactions. However, I found her demeanor disheartening. After receiving my two drinks, she began to walk away. I had to stop her and request a cup holder, at which point she informed me there were none available. After placing the drinks in my vehicle, I returned to request my receipt, which had not been given. I attempted to get her attention, but she initially ignored me until I had to raise my voice slightly. She then handed me the receipt.Later, when my order was brought to me, I asked if everything was included. She replied “yes.” I asked how many sauces were in the bag, and she said “three of each.” I then requested two more of each due to the size of the order. As she walked away to retrieve them, I overheard her mumble something to another employee. At this point, I asked her directly if everything was okay, and mentioned that she seemed to have an attitude. She responded “no,” and I left the store. Unfortunately, when I got home, I discovered that part of the order was incorrect. Additionally, upon reviewing my receipt on June 8, I noticed I had been charged $20.00 for a gallon of PDF lemonade, while your app lists it as $15.25. Being overcharged, on top of the poor service, feels unacceptable—and frankly, intentional.I’m a regular customer and have always appreciated Chick-fil-A’s commitment to courteous and professional service. However, this experience has left me extremely disappointed.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to improve service at...
Read moreFrom my last vist here on the evening of 1/29/2024 between 830-9 PM: Though the initial attendant at the drive thru was professional and courteous, it feels as if many of the teenagers who work there (inside, behind the counter) are probably just a level or so above their contemporaries who work at McDs, as if they were joking around and carrying-on. The drive thru was nearly empty when I ordered. I wish I can see the menu and prices first (instead of not having any menu to scan over first or being over reliant of viewing the menu on the Chick-fil-A app on the smartphone, while behind the wheel). Food quality as of late is either "meh" or not as good as it once was, as the price for one person eating there approaches $20. (That inflation thing, thx Kamala Biden). Ordered a grilled chicken deluxe, kale salad with a frosted diet lemonade. The kale Salad was better when it was first introduced by Chick-fil-A. The grilled chicken for the sandwich tastes either dried out or it has sat out too long, and the bun slapped on this particular order felt just bland, pulled straight out of a bag, without any crisp. Also, no condiments/nut available for the kale salad, no effort to rectify by the staff, other than stares and shrugs. And as per usual at this stop, no receipt provided (as needed to document work expenses) or for feedback. I sometimes stop here while traveling thru this region while on business. I'm just disappointed with the "ok" service I seem to get at this Chick-fil-A. At least on a positive note, the drive thru was still opened after 9 PM when I left, unlike other...
Read moreI am a regular customer at this location, as you can see from my rewards history, and normally I have good experiences here. Unfortunately, my most recent visit left me very disappointed with how I was treated at the drive-thru.
I ordered two kids’ meals and requested ice cream instead of toys — one cup and one cone. When I got to the window, my son asked for a cone instead of the cup. I politely asked the gentleman working the window (tall, slim, white male with glasses) if he could simply give me an empty cone so I could scoop the ice cream from the cup myself. I repeated this request several times. He told me “yes” but kept handing me drinks and food while ignoring the cone request.
In the end, I overheard him tell another coworker not to give it to me. Another staff member stepped in and finally handed me a cone, but only after unnecessary back-and-forth that felt dismissive and unprofessional. This was not about getting “extra” — I clearly showed the cup of ice cream and just wanted an empty cone.
The whole experience was uncomfortable and made me feel disrespected, which is unacceptable, especially since my family and I come here often. I ask that management review this incident, speak with the employee, and ensure customers are treated with courtesy. A simple, reasonable request should never turn into such a...
