Look, you can read ALL of the other reviews and you'll have one common denominator, slow and/or inaccurate. I tested this location out and went once a week for 3 weeks. Each time, I asked for something, they "didn't have it." Didn't want to make it, or didn't have it? There's always a wait for something. If there's a car at the window, you won't be acknowledged until that car is done. You aren't greeted when you finally get up there either. My biggest pet peeve is not on the employees but the owners. FIX YOUR DAMN MENU SO THE PRICES MATCH WHAT COMES ON THE SCREEN!! $37.99 for a 12 PC and 2 Large sided and biscuits on the menu. It rings up $39.99. I told the guy before I even pulled up to the window, and he said he'll make sure to fix it. The order on the screen is a different amount when I get up there. He prints the receipt, and it sure does ring up $2.00 more. Apparently, he didn't know how to fix the price so to make me feel guilty, he pulls out his wallet and takes out $2.00. WTH? I told him he didn't have to do that, but he ignored me as he is now clearly pissed with me. This is the owners fault, not him or me. I was going to just give him the $2.00 but he just ignored me. Get home and instead of 2 Large sides, I get 3 tiny individual sizes of each side, which is far less than what you get from a large. Spent $78 just to be unhappy with that and the dry chicken. The other two trips were only single orders, but still no pies on one trip, and no frozen mango drink on the other. I don't know who the manager is, but your employees are clearly unhappy, underpaid (as much as y'all charge, give them a raise so they aren't so miserable), and not one time in the Drive-Thru was met with any kind of speed. I am a customer and have never been employed by Popeye's, therefore you cannot say that I am biased (Look up the definition). I've ordered from this Popeye's location numerous times. However, for more than a month, this location has been extremely understaffed. Lately, there have been only two people on staff, and covering the day shift. There are not enough people working at this location to have an evening shift. Every time I go to pick up my order, the ONLY two employees who work the day shift always have a real smile, not forced, and a great attitude. Maybe due to them remembering me for treating them with kindness and understanding for being understaffed. Even with only those two employees working on an extreme skeleton crew, the food is phenomenal and still beats KFC and Churches. I am pretty certain that their understaffing has nothing to do with management, or at least not the shift lead. I offer for anyone who complains about this location to pick up an application for hire and find out what hard work really is. You will also learn a better appreciation for those in customer service and the food industry, because once you're on the other side of that food counter, other people will treat you in the same manner that you currently treat them. Read moreUpdating due to my experience today! 08/22/23 Absolutely and completely and utterly rude and dismissive for no reason. Went inside to Dine in on my lunch. Stood at the counter for over 10 mins. Made eye contact with both employees and wasn't spoken to until lady brought a to go order out to a vehicle. She asked me if I was picking up and order. I said no. She replied are you placing on and I was like yes to which she replied you'll have to go through the drive thru.
So rude to just let me stand there that entire time and not even address me let alone save 10 Mins of my lunch by letting me know promptly. I told her I'd been standing there for over 10 mins and she didn't even speak to me. She just shrugged her shoulders. I won't be back. It's an easy fix to just speak from the kitchen with a guest waiting. It's also even easier to place a note on the door too.
I'm a big fan of Popeyes. The food is soooo goood. The employee did get my order wrong. I ordered a number 5. Which is a three piece tender meal. NOT A 5 piece tender meal but everything else was correct. It was piping hot and I can't complain. The sweet heat sauce is my fav. I'd recommend here.
