All fine up until I got to the register. I love unique vintage furniture, art and books. I saw two books I wanted from underneath a sign that said “all cook books $5” . One was a tiny hardcover and the other a medium hardcover, both used books, so I thought $10 for two was reasonable. I brought them to pay and the woman said “these hardcovers are usually $5” and that was fine since that was the deal ... “all cook books $5.” The second book, she flipped over and peeled the top sticker off of another red sticker which showed the price as $18. Very much enjoyed my stroll thru Lowcountry Consign. I currently have several pieces accepted by management simply by sending them pictures to prequalify my items to take to consign but wanted to see the opportunity first. Very pleased to see that the turnover rate must be consistent due to Most of the consigned items have current dates on them.
