Very unwelcoming environment. No sense of urgency. Waited 30 minutes or more for 3 sandwiches. No one else was in the establishment. No line ahead of us. I'm assuming online orders took priority. Cashier was very lackluster. No smile. No attention to details. Told her twice that we were eating our food at the restaurant. It was to stay. We still ended up getting our stuff wrapped up and placed in plastic bags to go. I gave a tip because I thought the food would be brought to the table. I asked the cashier and she said theyd bring it to us. Not the case. So I gave a tip for what? Lackluster service with no smile and couldn't follow simple requests. To make matters worse, my husband never been there before. So he asked about the sizes of the sandwiches. She asked him if he wanted half a sandwich or a full one. He said full because he figured it was a normal size hoagie. When I went to pay for our 3 sandwiches, it came up to $67! I couldn't understand why but I paid for it. When we got our order, I got the 2 smaller sandwiches and then a huge sandwich the size of a baseball bat! Me and my husband were confused. That's not what he asked for. The cashier wasn't clear on explaining what she meant by a full sandwich vs half of one. If all this didn't already have me irritated, I then went to eat my sandwich and it tasted like a bag of pure salt. I've had sandwiches from here in the past and they never tasted like this. The quality has gone down. Extremely disgusted by the service and food quality. To think that I gave a tip on top of the bill is crazy! Never again! We aren't the type to complain but I'm pretty sure the staff heard my husband talking about the sandwich sizes and the mistake that was made because he went to the counter with our daughter and looking at the pictures and talking fairly loudly about how he didn't know the sandwich was that big when the cashier asked him what size he wanted, all while staff walked by with no acknowledgement of him or my daughter. They simply avoided any interaction. This was one of my favorite places. Haven't been here in over a year. Decided to go back today. Turns out, that was a...

I placed an order for a sandwich on 8/20/25 at the Summerville, SC location. Had to wait an extra 10 minutes because they said they had fresh bread coming out of the oven. After receiving the sandwich, I took it home to eat but couldn't because the bread was stale. It was very hard, crumbly, and inedible. I returned the sandwich for a refund, and the employee tried to convince me that the bread was fresh and would remake the sandwich with the same batch of bread. I refused and requested a refund which he said would be issued within 3- 5 days. I returned to the store today 9/5/25 to find out why I haven't received my refund. They messed around on the computer but couldn't present any documentation confirming the transaction and telling me I need to contact my bank. I told them I needed a transaction number to reference the refund to. At that point they started telling me I had to leave. They called their boss ,"Jim", (he wouldn't give his full name) and he told me that I shouldn't be harassing 17 year olds and if I don't leave, the police will be called. We'll, deputies arrived from the Berkeley Sheriff's department, talked to the employees in the back then told me I had to leave for trespassing. I explained to the officers what was going on and their only recourse was to leave and take them to civil court. These officers were useless, Primo Hoagies is very dishonest and unconcerned about the service to its customers. I'm originally from Philly, so I know what a good hoagie or cheesesteak consist of and especially if the bread is fresh. It's a shame because I've been to this location quite a few times but no longer can I support this establishment or any in it's franchise. For the price of a sandwich you lost a...

Sadly, I have to write a bad review for this place. We had been looking forward to this place opening for a while and in the end, complete let-down. I ordered online for pickup (first mistake) I was originally going to go in so I could smell the smells and see the meats…you know, how you can tell if a sub place is going to be legit. The app said pickup ASAP was 30 mins, figured they might be really busy…I wasn’t about to wait 30 mins for a sub. Walk in, super clean and friendly faces…no smells. No bread, no meat….literally no smells. The girl at the front desk was super pleasant, she was great. We just got 4 subs from there ranging from italian style, chicken, and ham…somehow the sub managed to have little to no flavor. The rolls were incredibly tough as if they had been in the air getting dried out for multiple days. I will say the chicken cutlet was pretty good, that was cooked or warmed up well - but also very little flavor; it was however, moist…good job with that. In the end, our garbage can ate a lot tonight; although hesitant to even feed that to him. I would not recommend getting anything from here, it’ll just be a waste of money; way better sub places in town.

Great job with staff, bad for...

The hoagies are amazing!! It’s not like your average sandwich place. They have flavor, seasoning, high quality meats and cheeses. The veggie sandwich was EXPLODING with flavor. If you like spicy the Diablo sandwiches are it! OR you can ask for a roasted (they roast it) long hot pepper on any sandwich. There are sides like Herr’s chips, noodle salad, potato salad and even pudding desserts!! Now let’s talk about the bread.. the sesame bread adds another level of nutty flavor to the hoagie. If you don’t like sesame seeds you can also get bread without it. I haven’t tried the other 45 hoagies… yet… but I bet they are as amazing. If you want a sandwich that comes PACKED with flavor, this is it!! We had them cater our business as well, easily fed 50 people and they loved it!

If you're looking for authentic gabagool, these folks have all 3 kinds! With killer meats, these Italian sandwiches are done right. The veggies are perfect, the sandwiches constructed with love. Don't bother with the Small, go for the special Primo roll and enjoy it as it was meant to be. I loved my Mild Sharp Italian, and hubby said his Italian had a nice spice that lingered. I told him it was the Spicy Gabagool! The macaroni salad was twangy and saucy. I am pretty snobby about macaroni salad and I would eat this again. I got the dirt pudding for dessert but we haven't tried it yet. The sandwiches are where it's at, and I want another delivery right now! I have my eye on the Philly with broccoli rabe. Yum!

Premium prices for Subpar (being Nice ) Subs. I wanted this place to be my go to since I drive through the parking lot three times a week. Unfortunately, it took me 20 minutes to get two of their regular size sandwiches. One in which was only to have roast beef lettuce and cheese. Was it crowded? Nope just me. Understaffed? Nope three people hanging out in the back. I could have let this all go if the sandwiches were worth the wait. Nope! soggy processed government cheese sandwiches. 23 bucks to be completely let down. Go to Jersey Mike's Go to Subway Just stay home and make a PP&J Anything else would be better
