501 Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Summerville

Cute little out of the way pub, friendly group of patrons. It's easy to feel comfortable here, People are lively, singing along with the music, dancing, overall a pleasant atmosphere. The food takes a bit, but it's good bar food, and the menu offers a nice selection. The bartenders are friendly and on their toes. Prices are reasonable for both drinks and food. There are 4 well-kept pool tables, and several league teams call this place home. While the area around the bar is quite dark, the pool tables are well lit. Smoking is permitted, and the establishment definitely gets to such a level of smoke that it becomes difficult to breathe as the night wears on.

Overall, I dont think i would have just happened upon this place, it's a pretty well-hidden secret, but if you are looking for a place for pool or to go grab a drink and a bite, it's not a bad...

Stopped by early yesterday afternoon 1:00 with 2 friends for a beer. Have been here several times before. Bartender Amber proofed all of us ages 64, 61, and 44. I gave her a $20 for 2 bottles of Ultra and a Yuengling. Got back a $5 in change. After serving us, Amber came around the bar, put on some gloves and started to administer first aid to another customer’s ear and hand, insuring us that she was a Registered Nurse. She then returned behind the bar to continue her shift. We decided not to pay another $5 each for another beer when we realized that their restrooms were closed and we would have to go out in the parking lot to a Port-a-John if we needed to use the facilities. Probably our last stop there when my friends and I are passing through the neighborhood. I can get a beer...

Stopped in to get something to eat late night. This place was recommended by a local as I was at the hospital very late with a family member and not from the area. I was extremely pleased to find a place I could sit and have a cocktail and much needed dinner after midnight. The other patrons were friendly and enjoying food and drinks and said everything on the menu was delicious so I ordered a mushroom and Swiss burger. The service was prompt and the burger was delicious! The portion size was perfect as I ate every bite leaving me very satisfied. I thought the meal was reasonably priced and enjoyed my visit. I will definitely return and most definitely sample more offerings...
