Skins' Hotdogs — Restaurant in South Carolina

Not impressed. I've been coming here for a long time, an its definitely gone down hill. There's only 5 tables in the place now. They tried twice to get my order right, failed both times. Just chili and onions seems to be difficult. The server isn't exactly a ray of sunshine either, randomly yelling across the place at people with questions and answers. The drink machine is setup dead center in the store in an awkward setup, blocking views and bottlenecking foot traffic. This is not the skins hotdogs my grandpa would take us to. Need a little consistency on the chili dispersion as well. One had a micro spoonful, all bun. Another was so overflowing it got everywhere. This business owes me nothing, but they do seem to keep making decisions that looses customers. That's why its so empty. Adapt or get left behind - touch up some things, put some tables and chairs out, act like you want a business and that may help. I...

Skins has BY FAR the BEST hotdogs I've ever ate in my life!! I've traveled the majority of the United States and have had my share of hotdogs but NONE have compared to Skins. Whatever is in their chili is so highly addictive that it should be illegal! If you're looking for a fancy shmancy hotdog, no need to waste your time here because their hotdog is the epitome of American!! Not too fussy and not too bland. As Goldilocks would say, they're just right!! I've been to a few of their different locations and their staff are always polite and courteous and make you feel welcome. Their service is very quick. dog that cost that expensive better be premium and at least 8-12”. long. These dogs are more bread. Had two for lunch but they are so puny it’s a joke. You get a full size chips and drink of your choice and the staff is friendly but so what. Two of us paid $26 for 54 dogs one chili cup two bags of Doritos one grape and one cranberry juice.
