Do not go to the Taco Bell on Platt Springs Rd. I when't there for my lunch break today to face a 35 minute wait for my food.
I pulled up to the drive through to see a long enough line that going inside would be a better chose. When i entered the building i was greeted by a small group of people, non of which were eating. The woman behind the counter did not inform me that they were short staffed, nor that there would be a wait. I ordered very quickly, sense i already knew what i wanted. And payed. Fixed my drink and when't to stand up front from my food. The woman behind the counter walked back to the back and right away started messing with food without cleaning her hands, just from dealing with money. I soon realized that it would be a little while so i moved over to the side to take a seat. I observed that now almost 15 minutes into my wait the line outside had not moved.
Now about half way through my wait a woman walked from behind the counter to lock all the doors to the building. Did not inform us of this, or anything. Just locked the doors, and returned behind the counter and into the back. A customer tried to enter the building, to which one of the customers already in the building had to go unlock the door to inform them that their understaffed. (He soon left). After a few more minutes another man tried to enter the building. A customer opened the door to let him inside. At this point the woman that locked the doors came to the front to inform him that he would have to go through the drive through. I told him loudly that it would be a wait. He as well left. I heard a woman from the back yell not to let people into the building. After my 35 minute wait they finally called my name. I walked up to the counter and told them that this was ridiculous. She laughed in my face and said they were understaffed and returned to the back. I had to unlock the door to exit the building after waiting that long.
I don't know if it's a Taco Bell policy to lock doors while customers where inside but i do not feel that was safe, nor not informing customers that their will be a wait...
Read moreFirst i walked in and the floor was wet as heck right in front of the door. They put a wet floor sign there down but right when you walk in the door i guess I just wasn't expecting it and hate if someone slipped down there because of it. But then I had to wait for the cashier for 10 minutes or so just waiting to place an order while they attended the small line of cars they had accumulated. They were definitely understaffed but the few that were back there didn't seem to give a fudge and just had this slow motion kind of pace like molasses in January but I get my order in and turn to look for a place to sit and the restaurant is filthy. Unclean tables, chairs floors (despite the only mopped place being right in front of the door) boxes of straws or lids or whatever sitting everywhere and this giant friggin air conditioner leaking all around it right on to the two biggest tables in there. Maybe if they were very busy but there were only 2 guys in the restaurant besides me. I was there only customer when I put my ticket in so my food came out pretty fast, probably around 5 minutes. They probably aim for less time but I can't really complain. I also have to admit when I got that crunch wrap I could tell it was made with love best made crunch wrap supreme ever plus crispy fries very good. +1 star. The line they had right after I ate was pretty bad on the drive thru and the cashier so bad that the guy that walked up behind me after I took my order sat down next to me and I received my food, ate it wrote most of this review and left and he still didn't have his food so dang. He was also kind of sketchy, weirdly muscular old man that sat down and put a tied up zip lock bag with white powder in it. Probably not cocaine but what did you do bring your own salt ? Weirdo anyway ya pretty...
Read moreI went through the drive thru after a long night at work around 12 am and ordered a 5 for 5 box and a quedillia that came with nachos and salsa. She repeated my order and I paid. All the food was prepared and was sat by the window for about two mins as the girl at the window went on her break and another girl replaced her and handed me my food. I checked my order and there was no nachos in the 5 for 5 or my quedillia. So I drove back through the drive thru and the girl proceeded to get an attitude as I asked for the nachos then told me they were out. So I drove up and went to the door which was locked and a teenager told me I couldn't get my money back and to leave the food on the ground if I didn't want it. I got home and took my food out there was hardly any meat, the lettuce was salad lettuce not the traditional taco bell lettuce and the cheese tasted sour. Needless to say I will be calling the manager and if they do nothing, the owner. This whole store has poor customer service and is run by a bunch of inconsiderate, disrespectful teens that have no business being out that late to begin with. All they needed to so was tell me they ran out of nachos and offer something...
